Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte would like to see a spin-off series where Walt Jr. sets out to kill Jesse Pinkman.
The 27-year-old actor says the story would follow his character and his on-screen mother Skyler White, who herself would be searching for the money left behind by Heisenberg.

Speaking exclusively to LADbible, Mitte said: "Fast forward five or six years and Walt Jr. is 22. He's at college and following his own path but his goal is to go after Jesse. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for Jesse Pinkman. How would I find him? How would I kill him? How could I rectify my family's life because of this one man altering my father's mind?"
Mitte believes the older Walt Jr.'s character would be influenced his father and uncle Hank Schrader and summarised the plot as '007 of the DEA drug world'.

He said: "They're chasing this money, running from their past. They've lost everything, they have no friends and the dad is a world renowned criminal. This really ostracises them."
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has developed two spin-offs since Heisenberg cooked for the final time in 2013. Better Call Saul is set to enter its sixth season while the 2019 Netflix movie El Camino gave fans closure to the question of 'what happened to Jesse Pinkman?'

Although there was no love lost between Walt Jr. and his father, Mitte still keeps in touch with Bryan Cranston and the rest of the cast.
He said: "I got an email from him the other day, checking up on everyone from Covid. We all have a good relationship and cared about what we were doing."

The actor credits Breaking Bad for much of his success as doors continue to open for a number of exciting projects. His mystery thriller The Oak Room debuted at the Cannes virtual film market last month.
For four years he's helped produce drama series Triumph, playing a teenager with cerebral palsy who strives to make it as a wrestler on his high school team. Empire actor Terrence Howard also stars and Mitte followed an intense training regime to prepare for the role.
He said: "I had a wrestling coach for six months while staying healthy and maintaining exercise. I like to do my own stunts. I got slammed on the mat and got my ass whupped. This is Olympic wrestling. Guillotine choke-holds, double leg take-downs, single leg take-downs, grappling."

While much of the entertainment industry has been put on halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mitte has worked closely with Texas A&M university on a sanitation project to help improve business practices going forward.
He said: "When I was a kid, I would get pneumonia three times a year and it would hospitalise me. It would almost kill me every year. This is very similar to what's happening with Covid.
"We want to raise the standard of health and safety in businesses and be able to say 'these people have the adequate training to make a clean environment, you are safe coming here'. We need to have classes and get people caught up on information to allow customers to come in safely."

He became too annoying. I mean my mom was so proud that they used someone with disabilities in that role, she has done work with people like him nearly her entire life, but even she after a few seasons just wanted him to shut the fuck up.

Now a series with Skyler where she fucks Ted, that I can get behind.

No one cared about Walt Jr beyond memes. Skylar and Marie weren't well liked, either. Better Call Saul focuses on Saul and Mike because they were well liked characters. El Camino focuses on Jesse because he was a well liked character. Maybe Walt Jr, Skylar and Marie can cameo in a Better Call Saul episode, but they don't deserve to be the focus of a spin-off.

Marie is awesome. The only thing you could consider bad about her is her kleptomania but like, that's like the least worse crime committed by any of the characters.

I don't mean worst character as in actions committed, I mean worst character in she's a badly written character. She has no arc, no interesting side plots, and in general is pretty useless to the show.
