Oh, I think you have to use the lever to launch him out of the plane. The weapons are just to weaken him to the point you can. If you don't have enough firepower, I think it can be achieved by simply surviving long enough. From what you listed, you should be good. Use of the weapons, launch the crate, if he survives then shoot some more until you can launch it again.

*facepalm* I'll have to try it next time I boot the game up. I bet I had him dead to rights all those times but just never pulled the damn lever. Was too preoccupied in trying to dodge him since it's such a confined space

I threw 4 grenades rounds, 6 flame rounds, 6 acid rounds, and 10 explosive arrows at the fucker. And some of those MP 100s until he kills me.

I guess I need to look for the lever but goddamn it seems like I've thrown a shit ton of firepower at the guy. And I can't dodge that stupid dash attack he does and he ends up cornering me to where I cant run away or dodge and I get hit like 3 times before I can attack again. I burn through 4 first aid sprays as well

Yeah and hell even just a couple of years ago I would go out a lot more than I do now. But over the past couple of years I've kinda become a homebody. And this covid thing has only amplified that.

I do think its desperation because he still has never told me what it is that's kept him from going back home the past month so there's definitely something going on. But mostly I think he was just angry that whoever he's staying with is probably kicking him out after overstaying his welcome and he couldnt couch hop over to mine.

It just kinda pisses me off that he would play the "you spend too much time with your girl" card at me. Its like bro I see her only a couple days any given week, and this weekend is literally her birthday. Did you expect me to go "oh yeah it's my girl's birthday this weekend and we've already made plans together but fuck it come spend the weekend with us"? Like fuck off man I don't owe you shit so stop throwing a tantrum at me because you're not getting your way.

I think I just lost a friend today lol. All because I wouldn't let him stay at my house for an entire week when he asked out of the blue.

A little backstory, he's from New Orleans, but came to Baton Rouge to attend LSU which is where we met a long time ago. And he stayed here until just two years ago so he had lived in BR for a good while and we've been friends the entire time. We were even roommates for a couple years until he moved back home to New Orleans because he got a job there, but we still kept in touch and hung out every now and then.

Well about a month ago, he called me and told me he was in Baton Rouge staying at a friend's house and we should hang out. He said he would only be in town for a week, so during that week we hung out like 3 times and it was fun. For whatever reason, he continued to stay in town instead of going back home, and the couple of times I asked him why he never really answered me, always just gave some vague "Oh you know, shit happens and I keep getting set back" answer, which I don't know what that means. What I'm thinking is, the people he's staying with are a married couple and he's well overstayed his welcome as he was only supposed to be there a week and it's been a damn month and he's still there so they're probably talking to him about it.

Then this past Sunday, he texted me asking if he could stay at my place until this upcoming Sunday. I told him no because I like my alone time during the week and that if it was just for a night or so I probably wouldn't mind but not for an entire damn week. He then tried to guilt trip me. "Man we used to be roommates before, you can trust me, you let your girl stay there all the time", etc, etc. Dude wouldn't stop pestering me, and I eventually just told him the answer is no and that's final, and especially not through the weekend because my girl's birthday is Friday and already planned on spending the weekend together and I didn't want a 3rd wheel.

He then tried to guilt trip me further by saying I spend too much time with my girl (me and her literally only see each other on weekends and I have hung out with him multiple times since he's been in town), he can't believe I "did him dirty" after how long we've been friends, etc and basically told me he's done talking to me.

He's never acted that way to me before now but if he wants to burn our friendship bridge over some stupid shit like this then that's on him. I didn't ask him to come to Baton Rouge, I didn't make him stay here way longer than he was supposed to, and I'm sorry I have plans this weekend and have a girlfriend (which I think he's jealous of). So whatever man, I'm just going to move on and wait to see if an apology for this bullshit ever comes.

OK I think I'm getting better now. I was able to make it to that mansion or whatever and found a save room. I'll pick it back up shortly but I need a break after basically trying to rewire my brain to get competent at these controls. I was actually able to dodge the cerberus in front of the mansion pretty well now so I'm getting better.

I'd imagine you'd have to live there a certain period of time but who knows what else.

Just a few of things to point out. Make multiple save files. This game is notorious for soft-blocking players. Don't leave anything in metal detectors after you're done with an area. Get your stuff back out. Lastly, the knife (when aimed down) is incredibly powerful for whatever reason.

Appreciate it. I just died in the graveyard for like the 3rd time lol. My instincts when it comes to controls always make me run right into a goddamn zombie lol. Especially when she's facing the camera its fucking confusing.

As someone that has R3make and played it, it's honestly not worth the price. It's pretty short, and nothing much new to offer that RE2make doesn't. RE2 has the better setting and extras and story and just about everything is better really.

I just finished RE0 and not gonna lie I was enjoying most of the game until it kind of just ended abruptly like that with no real payoff.

I'm sure it does. I learned back around 2013 that I need a way to physically take out aggression because I punched a hole clean in my apartment wall for shit that I was pissed off out. That never turns out well in the end because at the end of the day you're the one that punched the hole so you can't tell anyone to pay for it "because I was mad at you".

Make sure it isn't the kind of punching bag that falls down easily because i went through one of those quick. >_> not only that but they never got back up quick enough for the pace I wanted to punch most of the time.

I had a good friend who had an older brother that came home one day (he lived in another state) and while he was here he went in the attic and took his entire glass bottle collection and laid it out in his shooting range, and instead of shooting the bottles he took a baseball bat and turned to us and said "this is how you take out aggression" and he went fucking ham on every bottle he had. Will never forget that scene lol

And honestly of 0-4, 0 was my least favorite. Though there were things to like about it, they had a good concept of the tag team stuff and being able to control the other characters movements with the right stick was cool. Was especially helpful during some boss battles when the AI likes to just sit there and not shoot.

As far as the no item boxes thing, I'd have rathered they just do the "item boxes don't link" thing and put item boxes in the save rooms. Throwing items on the ground made it pretty frustrating because the prompts to pick stuff up didn't seem to register well and I'd often examine something on the wall or open a door instead of picking them up, or pick up the wrong item. Overall it wasn't a bad game, but the payoff for beating the game was completely flat. It just suddenly ended and it prompted more questions about the story than it answer (did it really answer anything? Seeing Burkin and Wesker work together and take over for Marcus was was about the only takeaway)
