in any case, here's my advance case for thunderbull

as a big rigs vehicle, it is capable of totally no-selling any physical contact with things in its way. it can selectively maintain contact with things such as ground, even in a conceptual sense as you exit the boundaries of the map, applying a seemingly endless amount of force as it does so to prevent itself from lifting off said ground at any point even as it negates all friction, allowing it to reach a speed of "18.3 octillion times the speed of light" in a matter of minutes. that means it is capable of entering the solar system and ramming into an unsuspecting opponent in the span of like 0.0000000000000001 seconds. And in even less time, it can also completely stop moving too

ironically, it's actually at more of an advantage in difficult to navigate areas as it isn't affected by any changes in terrain

also it may or may not have cargo, it has horns and is just metal as fuck

and jebediah kerman should be broken as well as he can travel a few orders of magnitude faster than that and ascend as the spaghettified aspect of the Kraken

jonathan got no respect despite being a literal god bird that with determinable power of roughly 10 times that of other, canonical gods in the setting the combat form i was arguing for was in. it just got disregarded because it was mistiered :(

As Board 8's premier Godot fanboy... I dunno how well I can descrbine most of it. His arc at the end is of course fantastic; being haunted and driven by guilt to the point where he allows his girlfriend's mother to die because he was too determined to prove to himself that he could've saved Mia is the kind of character turmoil I really love. The ending of 3-5 and Diego's breaking of the coffee cup are my two favorite AA moments

I think in general he has this weird mix of mystery and melancholy that is very well-done, plus top-notch eccentric Ace Attorney humor with his gimmick and many of his quotes. His feud with Phoenix, who didn't even know him, managed to make his back story intriguing and gave him an implied depth that few characters get, and this buildup was fully justified and rewarded in the end. He's the complete package of a character

Welcome to the King of Fighters 2020 (NOT MERCS) Simulated Character Battle Tournament!

The game is simple. The two* listed characters are placed in an (imaginary) location with a variety of (imaginary) environments, kind of like a picture in a child's schoolbook that describes different types of geological features. Within a ten mile radius, there is an (imaginary) urban downtown, exurbs, plains, snow-clad mountains at the edge, dry plains, etc. Fighters start wherever is most appropriate for them, but feel increasingly compelled to seek out their opponent and fight. Strong-willed fighters can try to hold out in their chosen environment for longer... eventually, all will succumb and actively search for the other to battle.

To participate, just vote in bold for whichever character you believe will win. Giving reasoning is optional, but please be polite and read what others have said and carefully make your decision. I'll ping the nominators (they can opt out) to give arguments if they wish.

Based on my understanding of Mario biology, I am confident that if the seagull teleported into Mario, he would have to go through an inner-Mario dungeon. Additionally, based on the P Balloon, I see no reason why Mario's body would not simply inflate to accommodate the seagull in front of him - less due to the power up itself and more due to the fact that it proves that Mario's body is not constrained by his skeleton. Additionally, as 100% Orange Juice is a board game, I feel as if Mario, having survived every game of Mario Party and the canonical winner of Mario Party 2, has an advantage in sheer endurance.
