For consistency you'd make this Neo outside the Matrix against Toko Fukawa that can't turn into the genocide thing because demons don't exist in the real world.

The Matrix movie has two realms: it has the Matrix, and it has the Real World. In this Real World, Neo had martial arts knowledge downloaded directly into his brain. This is not possible in our real world, but it is possible in his Real World. It is possible in the Reality of his Universe. Toko can turn into a demon because it is possible in the Reality of her Universe. Mewtwo can teleport and use psychic powers because it is possible in the Reality of his Universe.

Giratina's strongest powers are available only in the Distortion World. This isn't the Distortion World, so when he's not there, he cannot use those powers. Rand can change the world just by thought in the Dream World. This isn't the Dream World, so when he's not there, he cannot use those powers. Giratina can only use the powers available in his Real World. Rand can only use the powers available in his Real World.

This contest doesn't take place in our Real World. It takes place in the collective Realties of the collective Universes of the contestants. If there is a greater Real World that the works take place in that's far from the focus (eg Narnia) or the characters only exist in the Sub World (eg, MMBN, Chalkzone), it'd be more fair to consider the powers of the characters in their primary setting. The Matrix isn't solely about the Matrix. It's about the Matrix and its place in the Real World.

Neo's powers are to fly and kick people across rooms and stop bullets midflight etc etc and he can't do that here!

And my powers are to summon Aeons and chop giant mechs in half and transform into demons, and I can't do that in the real world!

I don't really feel like rereading the chapters, but looking at the wiki that doesn't seem quite right.

So basically they only agreed to the games because it was that or he breaks their best fighter's arm, and that's not something you want happening when you're storming the main antagonist's mansion.

He can grab a portion of their soul which is very nebulously defined, especially in regards to non-Stand users, and a match that was 80% "would <x> even care if they lost their soul?" is horribly uninteresting. A small extension to a user's powers so that they'd make sense in this format is very different than "ok we're in the matrix now surprise" (and I would have considered making it the Matrix if people had argued for it in my multiple suggestions/help topics)

I like how that rando had a Passive to make the fight into playing a video game which totally changes the fight conditions and Neo doesn't have a passive to make the fight in the Matrix which basically makes the fight the same aside from Neo being Neo

I am at a loss for both of these matches AS UISUAL FOR ROUND #$ 3
"both close matches"- happy round 3 is always like that : ) )) ) match 1 is like "old favorite but not as much to my current tastes vs. 'good song shut up it could be in ar tonelico or anime' and i like that more now" vs. " mwhich is match 2: match 2 is like shut up. MAtch to SUT UP i hate how much i like music becuse I LIKE MATH 2. Worm's jukebox intrigues me more tonally and HYMN intrigues me more instrumentationally/rhythmically. but both are like top tier songs atr being those things SHUT UP but in the end i'm more emotionally moved by worm jewel box (aka id purpose), I just think "hymn sounds cooller and is more 'complex' so there are more numbers in the song" if I was reacting to music like a machine.

i might flip on either match (don't tell me I don't do that because i actually did it for once and literally changed contest result last minute you can't tell me i am a liar about the possibility NOW ) SHUT UP (i love you . I love vgmc14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i want to point out that kat can only carry a certain amount of objects with her gravity power, she cannot stop an entire clip of bullets from up to two uzis

this is super interesting.

WoW was objectively the most significant MMO- the only competition would be everquest. WoW has also been the highest quality MMO over the course of its lifespan. The one thing FFXIV wins in is player housing.

I think this poll goes to show what is unique about the board 8 community
