But as a side note, when I got to the opposite side of the house, I started to get chills. Very strong chills with a static electricity feel to them, like it was something caused by the environment and not just me being spooked. Got stronger as I entered the master bedroom.

How about when Jiren overcame MUI Goku's Kamehameha and Beerus had the most shocked, incredulous expression on his face with beads of sweat?

Beerus was shook not only because he thought Goku was down and out, but because he knew he wouldn't be able to beat Jiren, so he had to place his trust in a mortal (Goku) to do what he wouldn't be able to do in the same situation.

That's my interpretation.

Jiren being so absurdly strong is comically stupid. Having a mere mortal so easily surpass Gods negates the entire purpose of Gods and having him be on par with or a step above someone using UI is laughable.

Dragonball Super is terrible, not even on par with the worst of Toei filler or Z-movies from back in the day.

It's not suggested that he attained his power easily, but there could have been more of an explanation as to how he was able to gain such power.

It took a Saiyan ritual for Goku to attain Super Saiyan God, then he discovered the powered-up version of that (SSJ Blue), and even that coupled with Kaio Ken x20 was completely fruitless against Jiren.

So yeah, his power is absurdly off the charts.

Way back when, pink was regarded as a bold color suited for males and blue was a soft passive color suitable for females.

At some point in society this association switched, and now people associate blue with boys and pink with girls.

It literally took 3 motherfuckers to defeat Jiren. Jiren was likely the strongest person there outside Zeno, the guardians, Grand Priest and the angels. Toppo alone was GoD level and he was much weaker.

So Goku reached a state Beerus has not mastered -- thereby suggesting that if the two were to fight, Goku would win. Goku attaining MUI made all the GoDs stand up out of respect and awe.

And Jiren still thrashed MUI Goku, all on his own mortal power.

No dude, Goku was dominating Jiren with MUI, which he only used for a very short period of time. Before he got to MUI, Jiren struggled against him but was stronger, then Goku went into MUI and wrecked Jiren. Then it seemed (although this might be my headcannon now that I think about it), Goku lost his MUI and went to a form of UI that was better then his first one but not quite mastered. At that point, it seemed like he was a bit stronger than Jiren, but not by a whole lot.

Dude, you seriously need to re-watch episode 130. Goku reached MUI and was definitely above Jiren. Then Jiren snapped and went full-out beast mode, and had an aura similar to UI. And for several minutes, Jiren dominated MUI Goku. He overpowered Goku's Kamehameha with a one-handed energy blast, managed to deliver several definite strikes to the "un-hittable" MUI form, and even had Goku down and barely conscious to the point that Krillin had to inspire Goku with a speech just so he could stand back up.

Jiren did that to MUI Goku.

UI did not "annihilate" Jiren. Jiren actually dominated MUI Goku for a while, until Goku got the bullshit "you tried to hurt mah friends" plot strength and his rage allowed him to overcome Jiren. But even then, as Goku was about to deliver the final blow, his MUI ran out and his body shut down due to the toll it took on him.

Is that Jiren's fault? Hell no. Jiren was able to withstand that level of power on his own. Goku not being able to handle it is on Goku. So people who say "Goku had him beat!" No, he really didn't. Because he failed to deliver the final blow in time, and HE could not handle the power. Jiren could.

Then it took Goku, Frieza and 17 working together to beat him.

Jiren > Beerus, and MUI Goku

I'm not very familiar with them.

I work for a very well-known corporation that could absolutely manage to pay every employee on its payroll for several pay periods without putting a dent in their profit. If they decide to shut down for a few weeks, and without pay, I'll be looking for work elsewhere.

This isn't sour grapes. I enjoy my job, I like my bosses, and the pay is decent. But they always talk about caring for their employees and they've been sending out e-mails thanking us all for our hard work during this troubling time (we've been busier than ever lately.)

So my mentality is: if you do care about us, show us, don't tell us.

Granted there is no indication we'll be shutting down. And even if we do, I hope they'll have the decency to pay us during the interim. I'm just saying...

Yep. I'm looking at about a month off now, but I'm getting paid for it. But I want to go to work, I get really bad thoughts when I have to sit here alone and I can't even leave to go clear my head. This is going to be a very bad time for my mental health and I fear for this month or so

Mates mostly have their own businesses so they pretty much have to work til the work isn't there, or they're buggered.

That's how it is for most of the contractors who frequent our store. They run their own painting company, and have accounts with Sherwin-Williams. If we close up shop for even a brief period of time, they could find themselves in a tricky situation. Sure other places sell paint, but a lot of them have contracts with housing developments to use certain brands and certain colors that are SW-specific, or they have customers that only trust SW, so they'll be in a real bind if things get worse.

I work at Sherwin-Williams. The only difference (so far) is a change to the store hours. We're closing two hours earlier Monday-Saturday and four hours earlier on Sunday.

You gotta look at it this way: to the average American, they have no real "connection" with the president. They know he runs the country, but they'll rarely feel like any of it really matters to them on a personal level. If the government sends them a check for one grand? "Hey Trump is my friend"

Not quite the same, because one's talent as an entertainer plays a role in how they script your matches, whether you win or lose, gain a championship, etc.

If you're not charismatic, connecting with the crowd, or selling merch, they're unlikely to keep pushing you and giving you success, manufactured it may be.

There's still an element of actual achievement there.
