Great question. My earliest gaming memory is playing Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt at my uncle's old house, back when I was 3 or 4. My sister and I loved those games. My uncle also owned Excitebike and R.C. Pro-Am, but it was all about SMB/DH for us whenever we'd visit.

Eventually, my uncle gave us the NES and games as a gift. I think he did this after buying a PS1 and subsequently losing interest in the old toaster. I don't have R.C. Pro-Am any longer (don't remember what happened to it), but I still own everything else and they work great to this day. That was a hell of a gesture on his part!

I generally don't mind kids, and even like them to some extent. I have zero interest in having kids of my own.

As I've gotten older, I've decided to just sidestep this conversation IRL when possible. Some people get surprisingly shitty/defensive if you mention not wanting kids, and assume that "oMg U hAtE kIdS!!" Maybe this is just another one of the American South's lovely quirks, but I've received this type of reaction multiple times and it's very tiresome. I don't hate kids, people, I just know Bosco Jr. would be a nightmare.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if Erdrick wasn't DLC at this point. The frequent talk/rumors of him being in, combined with the bulk of the online Smash community being disinterested in his inclusion and hoping for someone else... it all feels exactly like the weeks leading up to Incineroar's reveal.

I'm indifferent to the possibility, personally. I'd pass on him, as I did with Joker, but I see the appeal and DQ is significant enough to earn a character. I also think Erdrick would be a much better inclusion than Slime.

I was able to play Splatoon 1 in its prime, Splatfests included. Wii U has a spot in my heart for that alone.

At the same time, if I knew how many Wii U ports were going to be quickly shoved onto the Switch, I definitely would have just passed on the Wii U and waited. Especially since the Switch versions are significantly enhanced in many cases. Mario Kart 8 and Pokken, anyone?

But hindsight is 20/20, and hey. OG Splatfests!

This was very bad. There were enjoyable bits but it's unfathomable to me that anyone actually enjoyed it overall. It all just felt so hollow by the end.

The buildup to the finale could have been much better. The finale itself was...pretty much as good as it could have been? There was some weirdness but also a lot of good.

This is exactly how I feel. The dialogue was markedly improved in comparison to most of Season 8 (I still love S8E02!), which helped considerably.

In my experience, John Wick was a series that I was vaguely aware of and sporadically heard pretty good things about, but it never seemed that buzzed-about until about a year ago. But when the hype took off, holy hell, it took off. Every social circle I'm in - IRL or online - has seemed head-over-heels about it since mid-2018.

I plan to watch them at some point as well. I'm always happy to see Keanu succeed.

Lucille narrowly gets my vote, I think.
