no, i'm saying that the games (especially mania) can be very generous with lives, rings, and powerups
the generosity with rings in particular is big because it's the most insanely forgiving health mechanic of all time, with long invulnerability periods, easy recollecting, and requiring you to need literally only one of the numerous available rings in order to survive damage

the mechanics of the game very much allow you to just barrel through things
it's only in places like final zone, wing fortress, sonic 2's death egg, and doomsday zone that the game stops letting you coast by entirely on a generous health mechanic

sure you'll get hit a million times, but as long as the hazard doesn't outright instantly kill you or trap you, chances are you'll get by fine

yeah selling pirated content is pretty indefensible

i've had cable guys come to my house and not even install things properly, requiring multiple visits and a watchful eye for them to actually do anything at all

You can put this shit to the test by playing Sonic Mania, which I had a ton of lives by the end of the game because I wasn't dying that often, so shut up.

the game showers you with so many lives it's not even funny
on a casual run it's very easy to get a surplus due to the massive amounts of rings strewn naturally in your path, the lives gained from score, and from the many hidden 1-up monitors that are easy enough to find by accident
once you get super sonic you auto-win the game and it only steamrolls harder from there

while the game is definitely harder than its predecessors, it's really not that hard because the ring system makes dying to anything that isn't a crusher or weird collision mishap impossible

coursebot is only for downloaded and created stages, which is a dumb restriction on multiplayer when littlebigplanet lets you browse levels as a party and play levels with no added hastle

the bad jokes and the weird self-parody are the only good things about the show
it's an easy show to make fun of and it knows it and joins along with you

the ridiculously long name amuses me because they had the balls to immediately say the name later on in the scene
stuff like the conway twitty dances is boring, and then there's that lazy kind of joke where the show just explains something and then just cuts away to that thing without even attempting a twist, with really weak "ha ha just like real life get it" commentary

sunshine fans are a strange beast who need to do everything in their power to build up the game's minuscule strengths while desperately minimizing the many, persistent problems

it's disgusting how much people are willing to abuse service workers because of that "customer is always right" kind of mentality

it's kinda sad, to be honest
it's not that coin collecting can't be fun but that they didn't really make it very fun
they're confined to really tiny areas of levels that aren't really that interesting too explore (pinna park is an exception, with its unique and interesting layout)

the stages in this game can feel super tiny sometimes, even as small or smaller as mario 64 levels despite some complexities in layouts (which you skip anyway because fludd op)

i agree that using it as a surprise is a pretty weak crutch that a lot of people rely on, but to say that it's somehow one step too far for characters to be lgbt is weird

even smaller no-name companies or companies with guaranteed big sellers will put in lootboxes just to make their greedy shareholders and ceos happy

companies with record profits will still fire half their staff because it's never about not having enough money to stay afloat but not having enough money to hoard for themselves

people hate lootboxes but are fine with an entire genre (card games) being founded on the principle

it was always weird that they brought over the robotnik name into japanese canon in sa2, which made it eggman's official last name

eggman's usually given the goal of making eggmanland or some variation of it
he's an egomaniac who wants to create monuments and dystopias all about himself

he kidnapped sonic and flooded the world with robots as usual, but despite the huge windfall he failed to secure and maintain his victory
you have to be unimaginably incompetent to throw away such a prime opportunity

eggman literally had something as powerful as infinite and the phantom ruby and still managed to be stupid enough to lose
i don't think any amount of help would be enough

the only thing that matters about a word is how it's used in its contemporary context, and gay is used explicitly as an insult in a way that has nothing to do with being happy

the system is fun when you're low and scavenging
otherwise it's just annoying because you're constantly being told your inventory is full when you open up a chest

giving more weapons more significant uses would help as well
there elemental rods, boomerangs, pointy spears, and elemental blades that all have unique perks but beyond the charge attack there isn't much more and much that is needed beyond just using it as a beating tool

people just got better at the game

k rool is actually buffed from release but he's still pretty bad

what's the puzzle about switching to the glove to lift something? it's just an extra step added to "walk towards thing and press button" that doesn't make it any more challenging or interesting

beyond mega-crossovers, yeah it does seem to have the most varied roster
