Gotta think a lot of people who would've been interested were immediately alienated by the format not giving you any sort of introduction to any of the new talent which makes it all come off as kinda low rent imo. Figure it'll probably keep dropping for a few weeks and eventually level off as you hit a point where most people still watching at that point either are familiar with NXT already or have been hooked by the style by watching a few weeks. Then if it's actually something people want to see it might actually start going up, but I feel like a properly run AEW will probably siphon off a lot of those people too as I feel it won't (and really, can't, due to a lack of shows) make the mistake of assuming all interested parties have already seen the product so I dunno it could get ugly for NXT! --- No problem! I guess uhh, Ocarina of Time? Got it as a gift close to release. Beat it once didn't like it, then beat it again later to confirm "yes this game is bad and the world is wrong" Other than that I don't know. I've beaten Dragon Warrior a few times but I wouldn't say I dislike it-- I've always used that game as my definition of mediocre. I'm generally pretty conservative with games I buy though that's why the most recent regretted game purchase is 10 years old. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

| Lopen 09/26/19 4:42:58 AM #94 | Mass Effect 2 Nothing against the game I just bought it near release, didn't feel like playing it immediately, and by the time I did it'd been so far from when I played ME1 I kinda wanted to play ME1 again to refresh myself, but at the same time I haven't really wanted to replay ME1 So basically wasted $50. It was that purchase that made me really dial back my game purchases and only get stuff I had immediate plans of playing. And I'm sure it's a great game and I'll play it eventually and love it but by that time I could have got it for $5 ya know? --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

| Lopen 09/25/19 9:04:27 PM #198 | I agree with Cly's feelings on The Good Place on the whole Loved the first season, was disenchanted with the second one cause the plot kinda evolved into directions I liked less and the characters seemed more one dimensional, and didn't even get through the third actually cause it started outgrowing being a comedy and trying to focus too hard on evolving the plot and character relationships. I definitely feel the series lost its way over time. Almost feel like lesa is more would have helped cause really once they started leaving the basic premise I started losing interest. Ironically I only gave it to you due to a Xena character being in it. Though I believe you disliked Kevin Sorbo so that doesn't help. Xena as a series is just a lot more contrived of the two, in a campy style where I think simplicity helps. I do definitely think you'd probably prefer Xena of the two but yeah, I wouldn't necessarily recommend either one. Really if you wanna give something from my last set a shot give Burn Notice or 12 Monkeys a shot. Particularly the latter I could see really growing on you. --- No problem! Of course, why watch WWE, I get it, but just saying. I'm not really singing the praise of either champion at the moment but yeah on a week to week basis Kofi is the better champion by far even if he's maybe laid some eggs on PPVs. That's what Kofi got that's what Wyatt got. It's not a coincidence they're both perceived as a big deal-- they feel special because no one gets logical consistent buildup in WWE without it just feeling like a string of increasingly pointless wins. But I do have trouble seeing what feud progression is for The Fiend assuming he wins. Like I can't even figure out what a filler feud looks like beyond Rollins getting a rematch for no reason other than he gets one. I think it's a fundamental issue with the character. AJ Styles I see a lot of easy to do feuds. Scummy but talented guy with two goons is so easy. I mean maybe it's possible to develop the character in a way where feuds that aren't OOH HE'S SCARY AND ATTACKING YOU RUN AWAY exist but as Bray Wyatt exists now it doesn't really work? Like I definitely see him as a good challenger for the title in concept, but not at this point-- really what you wanted to do is have him harass Rollins without getting a match. Throwing him off his game causes him to lose to AJ Styles, then you have him crush titleless Rollins 1v1, then AJ Styles can battle him later with his goons running interference to keep the Fiend away from actually getting the title. I guess what I'm saying is a dude like that should never be a heel and feuding with a babyface with the title cause yeah your only out is to bury the title or put it on a guy who has no reason to want it and makes no sense to be put in matches for it. If he flips and is chasing the scummy champion you have a lot more ways to play it. Sorry for talking about WWE tho. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

He feels more like an obstacle to overcome than a champion. Like what is his motivation for random violence. Once you have him beat Seth Rollins where does he go from there? He appears and disappears at a whim so how are you going to book him in a title match. Does he even care about the title? Do people challenge Bray Wyatt during his silly promos and he's like "b-but I'm not the world champion, am I kids???" I don't know. He actually talked to Seth Rollins last week in kids show mode rather than just doing it to no one in particular and it was fairly amusing. Am I joining the Bray defense force any time soon?
