Actually, they don't. Federal laws say you have a right to refusal, but there are specific things you can't refuse for. State laws also have additional things you can't refuse for.

Its pretty sad how many people get turned away from hospitals or detox centers when they start experiencing withdrawals. Withdrawals can be terrible sometimes and not being able to get medical help with it can cause people to keep the cycle going.

Yup. He gave them his alcohol, then they told him it wasn't enough to get help from him, but wouldn't return it before sending him away, which is wrong in so many ways.

Yes, because the MCU is completely incapable of changing things to be more diverse, progressive, and respectable. I'm sure making Mandarin less of a characture and an actual villain would be the most difficult thing to do in the MCU. Couldn't be that the director is an idiot.

Let's say you come up with a cool property. You put something out with that property, get a little attention.

A big stufio sees it. Puts out a bunch of lower quality stuff under that property. It gains attention, but you don't. Your own work gets forgotten as the imitators are known for your work.

Suddenly, putting. Out something new becomes a LOT less lucrative because anyone can take it and overshadow you regardless of quality.

Copyright doesn't kill creativity, it rewards it.
