The other house robots (including Sgt. Bash, one of the originals) did not. Razer did return for the first season of the rebooted Robot Wars. Some other veteran bots from the original series returned as well, such as Storm 2, Behemoth, Dantomkia, Big Nipper, and Terrorhurtz. A few other teams from the old days returned with new bots, such as Gary Caims (the former captain of Typhoon 2) entering with PP3D, Team Outlaw (formerly of Velocirippa and Mighty Mouse fame) entering with Ironside, and Ian Watts (the former captain of Bigger Brother) entering with a clusterbot called The Swarm. Unfortunately, Team Hypno-Disc has not had such a return. Although they have given it some thought and answered questions from fans about it, they're not really considering building a new robot or bringing Hypno-Disc out of retirement. Pretty much this. I watched the show for the first 3-4 seasons and had a lot of fun doing so. I met a lot of other nice users here because of it, some of which I still talk with even to this day. I was only a casual fan, certainly not one of the super fans that bought merchandise, talked about it a lot in public, or took things way too far and lewded the ponies. Unfortunately, there were a decent amount of those, and those bad apples sometimes made the whole fanbase look bad. It's a shame. Overall, my time as a MLP fan was awkward at times, but still fun. Also similar to BattleBots, Robot Wars was rebooted a couple years ago and brought back to UK television on BBC2, where it has aired three seasons since. Now, for the first time since its reboot, episodes of Robot Wars will be legally available to watch outside of the UK. Science Channel was already showing episodes of the rebooted BattleBots as well (although these episodes actually premiere on Discovery Channel the week before) so now the channel will be bringing a double dose of robotic combat on Wednesday nights. Fans can now watch both shows together and compare the similarities and differences between the two competitions. The goal's to have a team -- maybe two, if I pull back the 4000-ish Welrod team -- and finish this stuff to get equipment tinkering unlocked. You'll need a second night battle team with Rifles or MG's. AR's can't equip armor piercing rounds (with the very rare exception of 6P62, who is only obtainable as a limited drop in the current event, which is all night battles) and without those, armored units will cause a lot of trouble unless you're massively overleveled. Generally, you use AR's with night vision gear to take down non-armored enemies in night battles, and RF's or MG's with AP rounds to take down armored units.
