Realistically how strong do those even hold up in court? Not directly related but years ago I was with friends who were bungee jumping off a bridge and same thing, they all signed a waiver saying they will not hold the bungee company at fault should anything goes wrong. A bungee jumper off to the side commented that the waiver will not hold up in court. I've heard this mentioned before when to other waivers.

On one hand, yes, the jumpers signed the waiver. On the other hand, should the equipment be faulty in anyway, who is really to blame? The jumpers for doing it with the assumption said equipment is safe or the company for letting faulty equipment slip by?

Well in the case of faulty equipment that's a different case and invalidates a waiver. People breaking rules and goofing off then getting hurt then suing is what a lot of these people do.

It isnt like this is anything new, weve been a lawsuit-happy country since the 90s. This isnt about millennial parents, its about anyone and everyone feeling like they have a chance to get money in a lawsuit if they feel theyve been wronged, even after signing an agreement.

Im not saying its right that lawsuits are so prevelant in the US, but if you wanna open a business with a high risk toward client injuries, enter at your own risk.

If they sign an agreement then they can't sue since they wouldn't get any money.

I'm in that great phase where you have to experiment with different medications until you find the combination that works for you. This week has been especially bad.

I have been neglecting my mental health since I was 14 so this is a long time coming. I'm just glad I'm sober so I realize that these are just symptoms and I'm not wallowing in it too badly. I'm just trying to find ways to distract myself as best as I can at this point.

I don't think depression medicine would ever really work for me. When I could get it about 5 years it worked good until it slowly started wearing off until it was virtually useless.

No, they both apologized to each other (7 years ago when that happened). TB was stressed out because of some immigration issue involving a visa and not being able to see his wife and kid, and Seanza poked him a bit so TB said that. TB apologized, Seanza accepted, and they both moved on. Yet people still like to bring that tweet up.

Then when TB was diagnosed with cancer, people brought up the tweet, and Seanza said:

Because Twitter is a privately owned company.

Which means they can do whatever they want with their platform. But this is not a question of what Twitter can and cannot do, it's a question of what government figures can and cannot do in the forum Twitter has provided.

In the analogy I gave, Twitter would be the company that owned the building and rented it to Trump for the event. They can ban whoever they want from coming in, or enforce whatever restrictions they want to, because it's their building. That's totally distinct from Trump making that call, though. If Trump did it, because he's a government figure, it would be a violation of the first amendment.

The salient point here is that the first amendment prohibits the government from censoring citizens. When Trump blocks somebody from commenting on his Twitter, he's censoring them, which is unconstitutional now that he's part of the government.

I'll make sure to tell Trump I like pineapple on my pizza then bitch when he blocks me.

But hey, I'd trade graphics for frame rate and quick/no loading any day, and most developers...think the opposite.

Well loading screens are usually because of out of date game engines.

Having to traverse all that area to get around? No thanks.
It's enough just dealing with the obscenely vast empty sandboxes of the outdoors, don't make the populated areas like that, too.

Fast travel.

Yeah, it's necessary at that point.
But all you're doing then is having size for the sake of size.
You have to traverse the area once or a few times, then get a fast travel point and never have to deal with all that garbage on route again. What compelling design!

Cities should only be enormous if there's actually a ton of worthwhile stuff (from a gameplay perspective, not "realism" perspective) filling that space.

Otherwise...why not just have small "sectors" that are densely packed w/ things, and then each sector has defined boundaries. You cross one, it's like going to a new screen in the original LoZ.
You were in "Industrial Zone" before. Now, by stepping through that boundary, you're in "Residential Zone." The trip between the two areas took your character quite a while and covered a mile or three, or so the game tells you. To you, you just moved to a new screen.

That's basically what fast travel is, but why even keep the stupid pretense that the in between stuff matters at all? Fully remove it and save the player wasted time walking through a bunch of dull urban sprawl that's only there for the sake of making the city "to scale."

Well as I said in my other post it really could only work in an RPG. They're actually designed for exploration.

Apparently they as well as many analysts think so

Then they're obviously wrong.

Those poor oppressed athletes. Poor guys can barely afford their mansions and $800,000 cars.

Sorry but these owners run a business. And like any other business, if you effecting profit margins you can be censored and reprimanded or released entirely. You claim it's an American right to protest. Sure it is... but on the job in your workplace you don't have that inherent right.

Because that totally happens with the NFL.

I have also been modded for spoiling the location of a generic enemy in a video game. I tried to dispute but the Mod insisted that saying there is a Lynel on the starting area of the game was a spoiler.

That one is absolutely ridiculous.

I would like this but imagine how hard that would be to make. Cities take decades and decades to build up to their size and youre expecting someone who isnt even a city planner by trade to design a virtual city of the same scale, density, complexity, and architectural diversity as a real cityscape? Its virtually impossible.

We don't have the technology for it but in the future they would just hire actual city planners.

You either get small cities where you can go inside every building, or huge cities where you can't.

Open world sure but I can see a large city in an RPG game letting you go in every building.
