I only had a few patches of actual depression in my life. It sucks ass.

My approach was to either lay in bed with the TV on, drifting in and out of sleep, or to go all sensory overload and play a video game while watching X-Files, Fresh Prince, or one of my other go-to shows.

Honestly, look into Spirituality

Stay away from anything religious; true spirituality is only about the Self but religion sort of made it seem like crazy talk and is Exactly why ppl dont practice it anymore (especially in tge West) and that is why depression is trendy

Please dont say not a spiritual person honestly try it out, it helped me a ton and you learn a lot about yourself (sometimes a bit more than you want lol)

Yea def dont pay for anything either, even spiritual stuff I mean some book are definitely great but unnecessary due to a lot of free info on the web

Once you become better, you know what stuff is right and not worth looking at, exactly why I suggest avoiding anything religious or requires payment first/when starting out
