I had a party a few years back, and one friend brought another friend with. This guy got hammered and couldnt drive home, so he crashed on my couch. He also took it upon himself to turn on Netflix in the middle of the night. He watched some move called Cherry 3000 (I think). From what I recall, the premise was about a dude fucking a robot.

I had some weird recommendations from Netflix for the next 12 months thanks to that.

When I was a kid, I threw out the cases for NES, SNES, N64 & GB. Once the nicer quality cases started to come out with discs, I started saving everything. So the only cardboard boxes Ive ever saved started with GBA.

Wish Id saved everything.

I gave up pop about a decade ago, but A&W was easily the best. Also, Im always in the minority with this, but I dont think Barqs is very good. It doesnt taste bad, but easily my least favorite root beer.

1) Super Smash Bros Melee

Me and my friends pumped hundreds of hours into this game. It was my favorite game of all time up until Street Fighter IV came out, but its still my #2. Just love getting friends together and playing it.

2) Mario Superstar Baseball

While Im a baseball fan, I tend to think most baseball games are boring. This one is my favorite. So much fun with the various abilities of each character. I have one friend in particular who will come over and we will pick random teams, then have a best of 7 series with those teams. Also, while Bowser & DK are the big bashers in this, it feels really satisfying to hit a home run with the other characters.

3) Metroid Prime

I nearly went with Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, but Prime barely eeks it out. The game has incredible graphics for its time, and I just love the little details (like being able to see Samus face inside the helmet after a bright explosion).

At my job, I used to be in charge of various IT related items within my former branch office. When people would take leaves, Id need to remove a lot of the privileges and functions that employees had until they returned.

In particular, I remember that we once had a guy take one week of paternity leave. The entire process took like 3 days to get everything removed, and then he was back 4 days later. Our back office fucked up certain aspects of what was supposed to happen, and ultimately, it took 2 weeks to get everything back up and running for him. Twice the amount of time in which he was out.

They havent added seats since 1913. The population since then has jumped from about 97 million to 325 million, so I wasnt going to make any assumptions. If you want to, thats fine.

Why in the world is airfare from Chicago to SC costing over $1,000? Thats the price of international airfare...

Edit: Depending on where in SC, a quick google search is showing prices ranging from $175-350. Seriously, what is the rationale for such a jump in price? Even ignoring the politics involved, thats robbery.

Are the cave passages too small or something?

Some narrow openings, but its also being compounded by the fact that some (all?) of the kids cant swim. The routes are tough for elite divers, so the fact that theyre getting this done is a testament to everyone involved.

Its ok. Chicken sandwiches from any other fast food restaurant are pretty much the same.

In my experience, southerners go crazy for it. I have one friend who is married to a girl from Georgia. They moved to Illinois, and when she found out that they were opening one 2.5 hours from where they lived, she made him drive them down to that location, wait in a 2 hour line (grand opening), and then home. So 7 hours for fast food.
