As I understand it, its mostly subtext and thematic, specifically how people refer to Neo. The badguys and his bosses in the Matrix calling him Mr. Anderson. Morpheus and company calling him Neo, and his declaration in the subway scene where he declares that "My name is Neo" parallels coming out as trans. I think its ambiguous enough where you can get pretty much anything about it though. To deal with armor you need something like a mace, a warhammer or a polearm with a heavy blunt end. The impact of those sorts of weapons travels through the armor and can seriously fuck someone up. This is especially of plate mail. You're basically a walking tank with that level of armor. Swords are sidearms, they are rarely ever the knight's or the samurai's primary weapons. --- No matter where you go, there you are. |
