I'm looking at ESPN's all important power rankings. It occurs to me that with how loaded the best teams are now, we would all have pretty much identical division winner predictions. Unless you're going with your gut, there isn't really a strong argument against the Astros, Indians, Dodgers, Cubs and Nationals atop their divisions. The only one I see any good chance of fluidity is the AL East between the Yankees and Red Sox.

I mean, I guess you can imagine a world where the Twins did enough to sneak past the Indians, but that's pretty much it. The Cubs adding Darvish made the Cards or Brewers passing them really unlikely.

The league is rigged in favor of Cleveland this season so Chief Wahoo can have one last glorious season

That bowser one was the trickiest one yet, but yeah the 2D ones were never boss intensive. You can "beat" bowser in the original super mario bros in like 1 second if you time it right and just run under him

mario Odyssey updated. minor spoilers I guess?

just beat the part where you fight bowser in the clouds and his hat has boxing gloves. Been lots of fun so far, but the bosses have all been really easy (not a complaint, just saying)

it's kinda funny you mention that chewz... the way the scheduling worked out, every team plays 20 games, with some overlap. The ice cobras happened to play the 2 worst teams 3 times (we played them twice) and we had to play the 2 best teams 3 times (ice cobras played the 2 worst teams 3 times)

I'm casually watching this Michigan State game. Every time I look up Michigan State misses a three gets the rebound misses another three and so on

turned out to be a really good game. I was rooting for Michigan State for the sake of the PotD bracket, but still a good game.

The grey dux inaugural season is officially in the books. Top 4 teams make the playoffs and we got 5.
ELXdGnq -
apparently, the top 4 teams in our league get moved up to the next tier, so we should be primed for a championship next season
next step is the Spring league which is a short 7 game season with smaller rosters, just to stay sharp/warm up, and then summer league starts with full rosters again

Yes it's never happened before in like over 100 times. We we're just discussing this, even with the talent difference we're overdue for this to happen

for whatever reason, the stat that a 16 seed has never beaten a 1 seed reminds me of the stat that a super bowl has never gone to overtime...which didn't happen for way too long and was statistically overdue.

is UVA your school skynyrd? or is it just your local team that you're a fan of?

The year after he got signed, that's when ELITE Joe Flacco managed to get a mega-contract, and the QB market has been insane ever since

In hindsight, it wasn't a very good move, but you gotta pay the guy who just won you a super bowl. I also don't know enough about the Ravens to say if their struggles have been just because of flacco.
I remember those playoffs... Flacco was insanely good. He went full on super Saiyan. Some of the best QB play I can remember

Meanwhile, the Vikings haven't even had a QB that's worth giving a mega deal to, or a QB that's been the bona fide starter for more than 2 seasons since the early 2000s, which is why I'm so glad they got Kirk.
And they've only had one true "era" QB in franchise history (tarkenton), like eli, Rodgers, etc
