Uncle

Thought so. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if Nephew did it, too, when he hadn't taken his meds. The guy had to be medicated when on the show, right? And yet...

Part of me thinks that Probst and Co. were looking for an excuse to ban Uncle from the show entirely after the source of the Missyae Leaks went public. A serious threat like that gave them a perfectly legitimate reason to do so. And after two of his kin had been banned from CBS a month apart, they thought why not?

Sorry Andy, I think you're alone here on a lot of your opinions!

It's felt that way for years >_>

I actually kind of like it when I can have an intelligent discussion with differing perspectives. That said, at times it can take a concerted effort to get someone to turn an egregious statement into an actual opinion. It's not an opinion until you back it up. "lol ur wrong" is the quickest way to lose an argument.

That said, darkx does agree with me about South Pacific being the worst season, so I'm not alone there. And I'm not the only one who still believes Aubry got screwed by an immature jury. I know of several other people who agree there, including one who thinks Kaoh Rong was the worst season.

And I love how the excuse for Aubry losing Kaoh Rong is that Scot and Jason were "being babies". Like, did people forget that Aubry lost Debbie and Cydney's votes all on her own too? Like, I'm sorry, but Aubry only has herself to blame for her loss, and people trying to make excuses for her doesn't help things or change that at all.

Debbie was one of the "big babies." She could not admit her own shortcomings that led to her boot. She blamed them on Aubry.

This comes back to my love for that premerge but you don't care for Stacey, Christine, Jim (didn't get unbearable until the merge I felt and of course the Cochran bullying), Cochran , Poppa Bear or Dawn?

Stacey and Christine were okay compared to some of the more unbearable people, but in other seasons I would not have liked them at all. I am more lukewarm toward them. I sympathized with Miki due to Brandon's boner (and she is hot), but she wasn't really... playing. Jim I remember more for getting way too carried away with himself. Papa Bear didn't last long enough to make an impression on me and ended up just being a weaker Bret LaBelle. Cochran and Dawn were meh in SP and didn't fully come into their own until Caramoan, which is the season I more associate with them.

I am neutral toward most of the pre-merge people (Christine, Stacey, Miki, Papa Bear, and Elyse), Edna, Cowboy Rick, and Jim
I dislike Semhar, SP Cochran and Dawn, Sophie (at that time), and Albert
I hate Keith and Whitney and Coach
I LOATHE Brandon and Ozzy

I wasn't rooting for anyone once most of the more tolerable people were gone. I hated them all and when mixed with a predictable series of boots and heavy religious undertones, the season was horrific. And yeah, Brandon should not have been out there. I do not understand why Dr. Eliza cleared him when the guy clearly had mental issues that hit their nadir while he was deprived. Brandon is way more tolerable when he's fed.

But that's just me. I don't understand why anyone would like it given the cast, edit, and Pagonging. I can understand people liking Kaoh Rong, but not South Pacific, Nicaragua, or Thailand.

If not for the jury vote off, that challenge becomes for immunity (which it should have, honestly) and Aubrey goes out in third place so Michele beats Tai 5-4.

That would have been a much better way for Michele to win. I would have appreciated the season far more and put it top half, even if I'd have been devastated that Aubry and Cydney both lost. I would have accepted it by now if that happened. But it didn't. Instead, we got a shitshow of a finale.

It's not that I don't appreciate Michele as a winner. It's that I strongly think she didn't deserve it over Aubry and that Aubry only lost because of bullies on the jury being unable to get over themselves. It was not Aubry's fault she wasn't close to them since they just shot her down and treated her terribly. if Aubry was on the jury and it was a final two, I would have held the season in high regard and seen Michele as the most deserving winner.

Yeah, I wondered that too. I mean, I remember Kaoh Rong having a good winner, lol.

The jury vote-off. And Michele was a poor player who only won because the big babies on the jury were unhappy with being voted out... when they were the ones socially isolating themselves.

I really don't have to. Having Nicaragua as the second worst season of all time and Koah Rong just outside of the bottom 5 speaks for itself.

I think this statement speaks for who won this argument. If somebody doesn't provide any backup to their opinion and just tries to call the other person incorrect, they lose handily.

One World was much better than either SP or RI, but that's not saying much. I have a particular fondness for it given how dark a time that was in my life. And Inviso is right: The most stable people ran the game until the F3. I'd say Jonas was also stable and rational, which is why Kim and Chelsea had to get rid of him.

I'd put Nicaragua below OW or RI. My bottom ten looks like (not counting HHH yet):
25. Game Changers (over-twisted, predictable edit, and "THAT" happened)
26. Fiji (has some fantastic moments and one of the top 25 episodes ever ("It's a Turtle!?"), but many other things were lacking)
27. One World (has some amazing moments [Tarzan being jealous of Chelsea's boobs, Colton's comeuppance, Probst's reaction when Manono gives up immunity] and a halfway decent cast, but gets really boring)
28. Kaoh Rong (tainted by MedEvacs and an unfair twist leading to a bad winner and the villains getting the last laugh)
29. Worlds Apart (this keeps falling as time has gone on)
30. Redemption Island (fantastic start but over half the season is unwatchable)
31. Caramoan (four great episodes at the merge, but too many animosity generators hogging screentime)
32. Thailand (boring with an unlikable cast)
33. Nicaragua (terrible cast, defined by a double quit, poor twists)
34. South Pacific (not a single episode or castaway I enjoyed)

Btw Andy I'm glad someone agrees with me that South Pacific is the worst season. It's basically a carbon copy of RI, with two things that made it much worse:

1. While most of the people in RI were boring, most of the people in SP were actively offensive
2. In RI at least one tribe forsook their returnee. In SP both tribes formed cults around them.

Only two? Let me add a few more:
3. The heavy religious undertones were extremely off-putting and for the edit to depict Coach as Judas and Ozzy as Jesus was just way, way too much. I couldn't stomach the thought of being told to root for Ozzy.
4. SP didn't have the spectacle that was Boston Rob's strategic game. Instead of getting things like his second hit on Elrod, we got questionable things like Ozzy faking being on the outs so poorly, Cochran's flip, and Brandon giving away immunity -_-
5. Though deserved to a few of them, they punished a tribe that won reward by making them sit through the worst movie of all time - something that should never have been advertised on Survivor. Beats the forgettable Gulliver's Travels promo in RI in terms of terribleness.

I agree with your two reasons, too. I'm also glad someone agrees with me. SP doesn't get the hate it deserves since that hate is unfairly directed toward RI. SP is that one season I have nothing good to say about, aside from the inclusion of a few challenges they need to do more often. And even then, that doesn't positively impact my enjoyment of it. I hated almost every minute of that horrible season.

BB9 is the worst season still (not counting the non-canon BB1). I'd also say BB16 is worse than BB19, but both had a similar formula of an exciting start that got unwatchable once the jury phase hit. BB19's excitement lasted way longer than BB16's. It's those three seasons and BB13 that are pretty much considered the worst in the fandom.

BB15 is underrated. I found it to be a lot of fun to watch a bunch of assholes give each other comeuppances. :X

My personal bottom 5:
15. Idk, it's between 4, 14, and 18
16. BB19
17. BB13
18. BB16
19. BB9

(Includes OTT but not BB1)

Get your rest. It's not that your body is aging rapidly, it's that you're overexerting yourself. I'm feeling the same way and I'm not on my feet all day. It's a work ethic thing - I've been bombarded at work and my instincts are "Must keep up no matter how much I have to do." This is not a good thing. You are similarly overworking yourself by not allowing yourself a break. That has intensified your foot injury. You have been on your feet too much without allowing a day of R&R.

You honestly need more than two days off. I know retail causes a disconnect to the term "Weekend" but you need a four-day break to recover. All you need to do is idle. Take naps, catch up on your gaming, clean that mess you've been wanting to for a while, and relax the rest of the time. I've been there.

Do what you can. Be glad you have employees that give a damn about you - that alone helps tremendously.

I'd love to see Cody on Survivor, since he's such an interesting guy. Rachel... please no. She would freak out at bugs by shrieking and/or crying. I much prefer a reaction like Cirie 1.0's discomforted face, her Hunny-Bunny and son almost heading for the hills, or David's quirky neurotic tics to "EEEEEK!" *sob* or something Rachel like that. tbh final 7 is too late to rehide a second idol, but they probably want another situation like the Cambodia F6 for THE DRAMAZ

Lauren exit press is out; her Gordon Holmes interview is showing the following:
1) She had the extra vote in her pocket. What is odd about this is why she didn't shove the shell in her pocket. I'd find a shell at that challenge to be suspicious.
2) Simone is not "a people person." That's pretty funny given the (incorrect) pre-game perceptions about Lauren.
3) The "can't trust redheads" thing was actually an in-joke with her co-workers, three of whom are gingers. That did not translate well.
4) She seems open to the idea of playing again.

I only read Gordon Holmes at work since I can't access several of the others like Wigler's or RHAP. I'll dig more when I get home. (Might leave early today)

It was Tyson's fault. Russell planted the seed and Tyson fell for it. Russell then played his idol on Parvati, sending Tyson out of the game. But a future winner blindsiding himself has to be considered for "craziest Tribal" right?

Recency bias because of what Tribal has become. This is all things considered - vote-offs, reactions, buildup, lies told, gossip, etc. That's why things like Natalie A sparing Jaclyn were excluded. Not enough buildup. Wentworth's is on there because of how much of a nuclear bomb that idol was. "THAT" is not on there because we don't talk about it.

Jane was the female version of PI Rupert. And I mean that in a good way for both.

That's a pretty apt comparison. PI Rupert is a bit more rootable than Jane, even in the scene where he nearly chokes Jonny Fairplay to death. I think I say that because unlike Jane, he shared the fish he caught and he was more forgiving to his enemies. Of course, casuals venerate PI Rupert. I don't, as awesome as his opening "Pirates cheat. Pirates steal." confessional is.

I don't hate Jane since she's entertaining but I don't find her as rootable as the narrative tried to make her be.

I don't get why Jane was so loved by the casuals. Her edit, probably. She really did seem like a "crusty old hag" to me, even if it was kind of fun to watch her fry a fish on her private fire and also go on this vendetta against Marty even after he was out of the game. It's that stuff that makes her an interesting character, even if she's not actually that rootable. Way better than Julie Wolfe, who is only remembered for burying pink underwear and laughing about it... and she's not very liked, either.

Yeah. Jane was a complex character for a crusty old hag - way more interesting than her successor the next season (Julie Wolfe), but still a character worth having on the show just to hate her. Sash is a weasel, sure, but that's what made him an interesting choice to cast. NaOnka, being a quitter and an absolutely vile oxygen breather, should not have been cast. Completely repulsive. Sash and Jane make for better villains than NaOnka tbh.

As long as it mentally stimulates me and as long as GLaDOS is still GLaDOS, I will think this was a triumph.

I said I like Holly's storyline. One of the most intriguing characters during the Dark Ages - and a spot of interest in a lackadaisical cast.

Nicaragua has always been lower-tier for me. I consider it part of the Dark Ages because of a mostly poor cast (we got Brenda, Holly, Marty, Fabio, Jane, and Sash... and a bunch of rubbish. Holly and Marty are both long overdue for a return.), the biggest MacGuffin in Survivor history (the Medallion of Power), and its "defining moments" being a double quit and the castaways learning that fire burns wood. I rank seasons by how I look back at them. When I look back at Nicaragua, my only fond memory is Holly's storyline. I look back at Redemption Island more fondly because of the first few episodes, the incredible merge boot, and certain someones >_>

Worst season for me is South Pacific, where there's not a single thing I look back upon fondly. Best seasons are Cambodia, Micronesia, and Cagayan, where there is a proper mix of great strategy with entertaining Tribal Councils, character development, general unpredictability, and are rewarding, satisfying television. I rewatched two of those three this year. (Pearl Islands is fourth for similar reasons)

As for the Funny 115... looks like Mario is going to be able to keep the site going for a long, long time. Good for him! (I could maybe chip in a dollar or two...)

(i've also spent a lot of time talking about it so i didn't bump it up)

To be fair, that's one of the "incidents" I mention frequently on my blog, given its impact. The other major one is the Edgardo blindside (that has to be in the video, right? I am mentioning it YET AGAIN in this week's blog, so I made fun of me doing that with the title).

How many have there been that included every pokemon? There are two on the wiki (mine and chichirimuyo's). Were there any others?

I did one ages ago. It was just limited to Kanto, then I did Johto, then I got tired of it and handed Hoenn off to Stifled IIRC. It kinda died >_>

No way am I ever doing anything like that again. Hoenn was the halfway point at that time. The plan was to have the top 10 or 20 or something like that compete in a "tournament of champions." So while it included every Pokmon, it wasn't all at once.

Why isn't that on the Wiki? I thought I put the results there at one point.
