| pjbasis 02/02/18 5:28:56 PM #170 | Beat Final Fantasy (III) VI on my classic! This was definitely the run I enjoyed playing it the most. The SNES script leaves a fuckton to be desired so the story felt a little shittier than it should have, but the basic minute to minute gameplay of playing an RPG was satisfying. I usually gave the game shit for not giving the player enough freedom in the battle system, but the Relic/Magicite system is pretty fine, and I enjoy mixing and matching all those party members. The open world set up of the second half is awesome and reminiscent of the final world map of FFV, which I also dig. Cultists tower is one of the most annoying dungeons in the whole series though. Especially when you miss both encounter rate modifiers. --- |
