Last year whe I woke up one of my cats had gone downhill so fast I knew that was going to be his last day alive. and I am still quite sad about it. He was buried in a beautiful meadow and this year I'm planting wildflowers along his grave markers.

The death of a companion is difficult. Even if you experience it a dozen times it still hurts each time. That's the hard part of life. The bitter end comes after all the good stuff. There's no way around it.

Cherish your memories and open your home to saving a new cat. :)

I had him my whole life, he was my brother and my best friend. I still think about him every day and dream about him on a regular basis.

Oh man. It was so hard when my older brother kitty died. He was three or four years older than me when he died at seventeen. He had a stroke and didn't even seem to know who we were at the end. It took years and years until I could think about him without crying. I miss him.

I swear, if I dont do everything, my wife assumes Im doing nothing.

My father was a pretty bad dad but I think he gives good advice every once in a while.
