Ending is still stupid as fuck though, because Metal Gear Solid clearly establishes that nuclear disarmament never happened. It also doesn't make any fucking sense for Venom to want to be a good guy, and then up and decides to be a bad guy in Metal Gear 1

The shooting mechanics in Uncharted 1-3 are not good. The aim movement is janky, the hit detection on enemies was always weird to me. It just wasn't fun at all. It honestly reminded me of PS1 or PS2 era shooting games.

I never had a problem with it in TLOU, but I also only played it back when it first came out where as I played the Uncharted games last year so maybe I just don't remember it as clearly.

Dark Souls. I just didn't get into it.

The problems with last of us' gameplay are the same problems uncharted suffers from imo. Naughty dog makes very visually pleasing games with superb stories, but then has the most ho hum gameplay possible. The gunplay in both uncharted and last of us is some of the worst in gaming imo. Last of us at least doesn't rely on the gunplay like uncharted does.

I think that's the only reason I enjoyed it for a single playthrough. I wouldn't say it had good gameplay, but Uncharted was just so much ass cramed in my face I couldn't stand it where as TLOU was like more spaced out?

I thought the story in TLOU was a lot better than the generic shit in Uncharted too, but that only lasts for a single playthrough.

It was decent, I guess I'm saying, where as I thought Uncharted games were always over produced garbage.

I played through it with a GameShatk as a kid, so I went years without realizing how stupid the leveling was. Killed my interest in every replay I attempted.

I used a gameshark to instantly level up and was like "WTF is going on?" my first time through.

You'd think, but every time this topic pops up you have people who come in and complain that 2 wasn't enough of an RPG and that makes Mass Effect 1 with it's infinitely more clunky gameplay, boring ass exploration and copy/paste weapons and armor better.

From what I heard, the demo was a bad representation of the game outside of general setting and gameplay controls.

I really liked RE7, but don't go into it if your history with Resident Evil is like everything from after Resident Evil 4. It's not an action game.

Honestly, the thing that really drags ME2 down than it should be is the planet scanning. You had to do hours of it to buy the upgrades.

I wouldn't "dislike" it as much if that just completely didn't exist.

Is that true even for a carry over playthrough? I don't recall having to spend hours to do it, but then again it's so easy to cheat that I don't think I've done it legit since I first bought the game.
