What kind of personality?

Basically...introverts. People who are perfectly content spending long periods of time occupied by little more than their own thoughts.

That vast majority of night shift positions are pretty lonely affairs. There's not many night jobs that involve groups of people working together. You might have a few in the same building, but they're typically split up and doing their own thing and just happen to be there at the same time.

As far as I know, OoT is praised because it was revolutionary for its time. TP and SS, while good games, are just that, good games.

But people loved Wind Waker too, and the only thing "new" about it was the cell-shaded graphics. Otherwise it was once again just a basic re-skin of OoT.

I never heard much about the online one. How similar is it to the standard game?

And I originally started trying to get a bunch of individual mods, but in the end I decided to pretty much just go with the one compilation mod by Huntercrux on the Nexus.

- new body textures for both male and female (no ugly-ass scar, higher quality textures in general)
- better GUI and icons
- better "glow" from light sources so they're actually useful
- indicator in inventory showing what's clothing and what's armor
- no carry weight (fuck weight limits in literally every game ever...I've never played a game where I liked that element)
- higher jump, unlimited sprinting
- tweaks to augments, weal, prosperity, and level-up stat gains

It was pretty much everything I was looking for, tbh. Made it pretty simple. Wish I'd seen it sooner before I spent an hour or two looking through the individual mods. >_<

Let's not forget that he was the doctor for the Olympic team. The kind of pressure these kids are under is already immense. This is basically the only goal of their entire lives for years on end. The thought that they might not make the team because they spoke up, and would have essentially thrown all of their dreams in the trash along with the uncountable hours of dedication and hard work, would be enough to keep the majority of them silent already.

I got to watch some dude get arrested tonight.

He came in and said he was out of gas and had managed to coast into the station and make it to the pump. But he couldn't find his wallet, so he couldn't pay for gas. He asked if it was alright if he just chilled in the store until Triple-A showed up. About 2 seconds later a cop walked in, said "are you Justin? Mind if we step outside and talk for a second?" They went outside and the cop promptly had him turn around and pulled out the cuffs. O_o

A few minutes later I saw one of the cops get in his car, start it up, and pull it around the side of the building out of the way to park it. So apparently he wasn't out of gas after all. XD I'm guessing he was hoping to use that as an excuse with me in order to hopefully hang out inside and out of sight until the coast was clear. Obviously didn't work out for him, though.

Never did find out what he did. Cop just said there was a warrant out for him, but wouldn't give me any details. :-/

More games need to do it the way Halo did it, tbh. During the tutorial at the start of the game, as you're waking up they tell you that they need to calibrate your armor suit and to look at the lights on the left and right. Then they tell you to look at the light on the top. Regardless of how you move the stick it always looks up (and then changes the settings accordingly). It's so intuitive that most people literally never even think about it. They just do what feels natural, either pulling back or pushing up on the stick, and the game automatically allocates that to be "up" for them. It's brilliant.

lol @ still using the standard alarm clock.

That's what apps are for. Alarms are far too easy to turn off while still half asleep, only to roll over and fall back to sleep without realizing it. I set up my alarm to ask me a simple math question (like 13 - 5, not calculus) when I want to dismiss it. Also set a limit on the number of times it will allow me to hit snooze. Plus a nice feature that makes the alarm's volume increase gradually for a less jolting wake-up.

Well, if he's got a bunch of stab wounds in his chest, I think you can safely say "he appears to have been stabbed." Or if there's a bunch of bruising around his neck, you can generally say "he appears to have been strangled." Of course, you would follow it up with "...but we can't be certain until/will have more details after the autopsy."

This isn't rocket science here.

Kinda curious what would happen if this were somehow shown to be possible.

Like humanity was shown that all disease could be eliminated with certainty. And equally shown that the only way to achieve it was for every human adult in a first-world country who was alive exactly 1 year from today would have had to pay $1000 by that date. So we'd all have a single year to get every living adult $1000 and get them to the payment location.

Would everyone start giving their money to the poor people to get them to pay it? Or would people start forming gangs and go out to kill anybody who hadn't paid yet? Or would the world just go "welp, that sucks. I guess we're just gonna have to deal with diseases like we always have"?

Had a wonderful experience with a lady customer yesterday just before I got off in the morning.

Her: *grabs a bunch of Monster energy drinks, drops them haphazardly on the counter*
Her: I'm getting 12. *goes back to get the rest*
Me: (oh...I can already tell this is gonna be fun...) *starts collecting them and putting them into a bag*
Her: *returns with the other half, drops them all over the counter again*
Her: There. And just give me all of the Marlboro 27's you've got that are on sale up there.
Me: *silently prays "thank you, oh gracious God, for giving me the opportunity to bring your divine karma down on a bitch this glorious morning"*
Me: There's a limit of 3 deals on cigarettes per customer.
Her: What? That's fucking bullshit! I buy cartons of those fucking things from here and the other station down the road all the fucking time! I spend hundreds of dollars in this place! You'll give me every one you have!
Me: I'm sorry, ma'am, but I can only give you 3.
Her: Fuck you! I come here all the time! I've never had a problem with this before! That blond girl that's here always gives me as many as I want!
Me: Ma'am, I don't know what to tell you. There's a limit of 3 per customer. That's the rule, and it's written plain as day right here. *points to sign on the cigarette shelf that says "Maximum 3 packs per deal per customer"*
Her: That's fucking bullshit and you know it!
Me: Listen, I'll give you 3, but that's all I can do. *reaches for the Marlboro 27s, only to find they're not even on sale, the Marlboro Southern Cut next to them are*
Me: Well, it looks like it doesn't matter either way, because we don't have any 27s on sale anyway.
Her: Yes you do, they're right there!
Me: *points to the 27s with no sales*
Her: Right next to those, idiot! Are you fucking stupid?
Me: No ma'am. These are Marlboro Southern Cuts. Not blend 27s. And if I'm the idiot, how come I'm not the one who just made herself walk out of here empty handed? Have a nice day.
Her: EXCUSE ME?!?
Me: *taking the bags of Monster off the counter* I believe I just did. You're excused. Have a nice day.
Her: I know the owner! I'm going to come back tomorrow and you're going to be fucking fired! You are the worst employee I've ever seen! I spend hundreds of dollars here! Your ass is screwed!
Me: Door's to your right. Take care!

There is literally a 0.000000000% chance that my job is in danger. The boss fucking loves me. Last time I had a customer like this he gave me $20 for having to deal with them and said he was glad it was me and not a couple of the other people that work here because they never would have been able to handle it. XD I just wish I could see the look on her face if she comes in to bitch and the owner basically laughs at her.

EDIT: I should note, the smile never left my face the entire time. I was genuinely thoroughly enjoying myself. XD I love when reality slaps people in the face who are hostile bitches for absolutely no reason.

You have to ensure that you have one active post up a day tho right? So while you may not be actually posting a new post, you're still coming on Gamefaqs. Every day. Which is objectively pathetic. Plus lets not act like that's even relevant since no one actually did that, you know full well you spent a lot more time on gamefaqs than was necessary to earn that amount of karma.

I have GameFAQs set as one of my homepages (it opens three tabs every time I open my browser). I have a post on a topic that's over 4 years old. So I haven't actually had to post or even look at GameFAQs in over 4 years to get my karma.

For most of my college years, that's literally all I did. I opened my browser. Didn't really post at all until like an hour before I went to sleep. And more often than not I just scrolled a couple times through the topics, found nothing of interest, closed out and went to bed.
