I'm not feeling great in general. I'm all congested and while (thankfully) it hasn't gone to my throat yet, I've been blowing my nose raw all night. Add to it the fact that the heater apparently broke during the day some time yesterday. It's not like I'm sitting here shivering all night, but it's just cold enough to be uncomfortable. And 9 hours of being just slightly too cold and uncomfortable has given me a massive headache on top of the congestion. Ugh...I just wanna go home, take some Nyquil, and crash. ;_;

Night manager for a 24-hour gas station.

It's not glamorous, but it pays the bills. Which is really all that matters to me, tbh. I'm not a "live to work" person. I'm more of a "work to live" kinda guy. Plus it allowed me to afford a top-end gaming laptop.

The job's incredibly easy, it pays well enough, and I get to spend the majority of my time getting paid to watch Netflix & YouTube, fuck around on CE, and play video games all night. ^_^

I was just about to post that literally the only company I will get a season pass from is DICE and their Battlefield games. They're pretty spectacular when it comes to consistent, long-term support and really getting quality content from their DLCs.

I'm convinced this is the biggest troll opinion on the internet these days. Like, everybody always claims the controller was great, but it's objectively a piece of shit.

The Z-button was oddly placed and too small. The triggers required far too much movement before they'd actually register. The C-stick was hot garbage. The D-pad was way too small and not very responsive. The stick had way too big of a dead zone in the middle. And the button sizes/placements were just arbitrary and senseless. I mean, who in their right mind thought "hmm, the B/cancel button is the second-most-used button on a controller, so let's make it the smallest one and put it right in the middle of the most frequent movement you will make with your thumb (between the C-stick that has no gripper and constantly lets your thumb slide off and the A button that does 90% of everything because it's the only viable button on the controller's face)."

GameCube controller is the worst controller ever made. Possibly second-worst, behind the N64 only. But the N64 gets somewhat of a pass because it was a first attempt at a proper controller for 3D games, and many of its features became standard practice (L/R, control sticks, ergonomic handles, etc). There's absolutely no excuse for how much of a steaming pile of feces the GameCube controller was.

It was about 11 years ago now, in college. We'd had a party at our house on a saturday night and it was a blast. My closest friend in the world, Danielle, had been over and we'd spent most of the night hanging out in my room drinking, smoking, and playing music with a few of the "VIP" friends of the house (my room was always off-limits during parties for the randoms). Danielle had a few too many, and she had driven to our house, so I said she should just spend the night. She didn't argue. :-P

We were both drunk, so nothing "happened" that night. We just cuddled up real close and fell asleep. Which was nice, but the perfect moment happened in the morning. I had to work early, so I'd set my alarm. When it went off I reached over her to hit the button, and gave a soft kiss on her neck as I did. She just looked up at me and smiled, then turned over and put her arms around me and laid her head on my chest. Neither of us said a word, just kind of got lost in each others' arms. We laid there until I had to get ready for work. There was absolutely nothing else I wanted in that moment. It was literally the happiest, most content moment of my life.

NASA can track most larger bodies. Something that small is simply too small, too dark, and too close for accurate satellite tracking.

Generally speaking, if it's big enough to cause a serious catastrophe then NASA will likely see it with a decent amount of notice before impact.
