Most other MCU villains don't. Even if they have similar stories, the personification of those villains doesn't end up being as nuanced. (See: GotG 1 and Civil War)

I just think you guys are overemphasizing how much of his motivations were because of Wakanda ignoring black people in America and under-emphasizing how much of his motivations were because he was a violent psychopath with a radical warmongering father. None of the people Killmonger was going to kill were even responsible for what he was upset about. How is that nuanced? Imo Vulture was much more nuanced.

Did you completely miss the part where Killmonger's uncle was planning a violent heist or w/e at the beginning of the film? And how they hid the weapons in the closet when they thought the feds were knocking on the door? And when he tried to kill Black Panther? Killmonger's uncle was absolutely a bad person who was radicalized into violent warmongering.

The way the minorities in America were treated likely contributed to that, but he was bad because of his beliefs on how Wakanda should use its power.

And I disagree with your claims about Killmonger's motivation. He was an evil murderer, dude. Didn't you see how many people he killed to get all those tattoos? Didn't you hear how he literally openly said he wants to escalate tensions by distributing weapons? He wasn't interested in helping anyone - he was interested in introducing violence and warfare all around the world using Wakanda's weapons.

Black Panther is the one who ultimately actually started helping everyone. Killmonger only wanted to kill everyone and become a dictator.

And you completely ignored what I said about the one liners about white people.

The one liner about the agent being a colonizer was directed at him just because he's white. That's a generalization about white skin without regard for the many nationalities that have white skin and without regard for whether or not that individual in question had any part in colonization.

Wakanda began outreach in that ghetto because that was where Killmonger was from. Note that before that scene Black Panther was at the UN meeting and saying he was going to share technology / vibranium with everyone.

Killmonger's father was perfectly fine employing violence in his pursuits (hence the weapons). Killmonger wanted to destabilize nations through in-fighting, not really help other black people. His father dying is why he became a villain and wanted to kill Black Panther. He even says he purposely joined the military and trained and killed as many people as possible in preparation to kill Black Panther.

You would've had the same exact film if you removed the one liners about white people. For example if you removed the "colonizer" joke and the "another broken white boy for me to fix" joke and whatever you would've had the same exact movie with the same exact drama/conflicts. In fact there was far more drama in the film because of the conflict between Africans and African Americans (like when Killmonger asked Black Panther where the Wakandans were when his people were being shipped off to be slaves) than because of the conflict between colonizers and Africans hundreds of years ago.

What are you misunderstanding? A major part of the movie is how white people treated Africans (with colonization) and African-Americans (with oppression) and how that history leads to the events in Black Panther.

Uh the whole movie was about how some people from Wakanda thought Wakanda should flex its military muscle to take over the world, and how the Black Panther didn't want that to happen. The white stuff was only a part of the movie because of the one liners directed at white people, and nothing you said changes the fact that that was stupid. Especially since generalizing about all white people being colonizers is pretty racist in itself.

At least the movie was somewhat balanced in also pointing out that Africans and African Americans are different people in themselves, so I won't be unfair and say that it was completely biased.

Hard choice between 2 and 3, but I'll give the edge to 2.

Yeah, if I had to pick it'd be tough but I'd probably pick 2. But dammit 3. But 2. But 3. Fuck. Such fantastic games. The storylines were great, the music was great. 3 had more side-stuff to do, and more post-game content. But 2 was so fresh because of the styles and Bass.

1 was also fantastic. I absolutely loved it, although I did play it first.

I resorted to installing Elementary OS (a Linux distro built on top of Ubuntu IIRC) and setting it up with tensorflow and deepspeech. Importing and processing 70 gigs of data is taking forever and it's slamming my laptop's CPU quite hard. >_>

All it has is a 960m so once I start the training process I'll probably still need to use the CPU since the GPU is just 2 GB...

There are third party services that provide that for low cost with easy implementation details. Duo is one of them.

It could eliminate needing to track IP addresses for figuring out which user is which. Most people only have a single phone number, and it'd be easy to track problem users across multiple phone numbers. I'd even be willing to implement this for free for gamefaqs.
