Vulture being the girl's dad was such a fucking shock.

Also the scene where he finds out who Peter is was great.

Also Liz was fucking hot.

Oh and the scene where Peter is trapped in the rubble was incredible. Cliche as fuck, but incredible.

There was a lot of gasps in the theater I saw
it in when he opens the door. Haha.

keaton's acting is so spot on that you forget peter is superhuman vs what amounts to a normal thug with a gun.

I was expecting him to be there, but more in a "he found out who Spiderman was and kidnapped the girl" way. It was too damn quiet as he walked up to the door.

But damn. They fucking got me.

And I liked that Vulture wasn't a stereotypical comic villain.

Marvel seems to be doing that more often. Making the bad guys bad, but still human.

Vulture's most scariest moments is when he was outside the costume, lmao. that dad talk scene was really great.

Watching it again

The montage of him helping people around the city ending with the carjacker who was just trying to get into his own car is so good

2017 was a solid year for Marvel movies.

I honestly cant decide which I loved more; Spider-Man, Guardians or Thor.

Cant wait to see Black Panther this weekend.

That scene was fantastic but also almost hard to watch. You realize that he really is just a kid.

MCU is on top of things, and my only complaint for SM:H was not giving Mac Gargan a little more time trying to harm Spider-Man on the ship. We know he will be scorpian though so they could be saving that for movie 2.

I was thinking Vulture could come back too from the credit scene.

Him telling Scorpion he didn't know who Spidey was could have been him protecting Peter in return for saving his life, or him not wanting others to go after him so he can get revenge.

Vulture did it because Peter saved him, his little girl, and because he is not an actually evil person, family means everything to him which is why he sent them to Ohio at the end.

Dude, from the moment Vulture opened the door to when Peter got out of the car, you could hear a pin drop in my theater. I've never been in one where the tension was that high.

I agree.

Tobey was a great Peter but a poor Spidey.
Andrew was a great Spidey but a poor Peter.
Tom nails both.

One thing that bugged me though is why the fuck couldn't Tony just say "I called the FBI, they'll handle it"

Ever been 50 and feel you need to explain yourself to a 15 year old? He said to stay out of it, to a "father" that should be enough.

Tony said he listened and would handle it, this man is an Avenger, he is not just saying shit and ignoring Peter. Peter is still a kid though and felt he could get the job done but mostly wanted to prove himself to Tony so he got more Avengers level missions not just neighborhood watch stuff.

There is no reason Tony needs to explain himself to Peter, he is the guy who gave Peter a chance to begin with, Peter should have just listened to him or asked if he could do more ask being the key word.
