Yeah. I figured it'd be those two just because there's a bunch of people who think the Tellius FEs are the best. I was tempted to submit a prediction just so I could put Blazing Sword and Sword of Seals there out of spite.

Yeah, I think the first GAA is fine. Its lows aren't anywhere near as low as DD's or JFA's. Its main problem is just that its final case isn't anything special.

Yeah, I figured it probably wasn't MSG 1 & 2 due to the DLC part and because it's a bit odd to combine them, but I figured I'd try since I didn't feel like doing a lot of searching to find a better match.

Maybe #31 is Hades again because it's just that good

I think we're safe from Trump winning. There's 2 important differences from 2016:

1. People know Trump can actually win.

2. January 6 escalated Trump from a mere buffoon to an actual terrorist.

An increasing number of people are realizing that Trump could unironically become the next Hitler if he actually wins. If Trump is on the ballot, we won't have the usual problems with young liberals being too lazy to vote and independents being too wishy-washy; there will be a massive turnout against Trump.

I'm playing through Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals currently. I kept abandoning my playthroughs somewhere in the chapter 6-18 range for whatever reason; it's really bad. I figured since it takes place 20 years after Blazing Sword and it's now 20 years since I first played Blazing Sword, now's the time to finally get a playthrough to the end.

Persona 4 > Persona 5 IMO

I think he was sticking to one game per series and chose Xenogears over Xenoblade 1 or 2.

I finally played it in December 2020. It was alright. I get why people like it so much, but it can come off as too try hard to me.

doesn't look like gen 9 is even finished yet so might be a while before I can do another ranks the pokemon. would like to do another ranking though...

Thanks for hosting this project again. It was fun.

Gen 9 still has the 2nd part of the DLC coming up, so we should definitely wait for that to be released for a month or two at least. After that, I wouldn't mind doing Gen 9, but I'm guessing others would want to wait for Gen 10 to be announced in case there's another pseudo-spinoff game or whatever.

Other things we could rank could be a Gen 1 redo (I'm fine with the original results being the official ones, but we can still do it for fun) or misc stuff that fell through the cracks (e.g. Gen 7 Pokemon after the original Sun/Moon, Galarian forms, Hisuian forms, Primal legendaries, other forme stuff, etc.) The latter probably doesn't have enough stuff to make that worthwhile though.

Corviknight was a must for my replay team. Once I actually used it I wasn't all that impressed. But at least it won instead of something stupid; I'll take it.

I suspect that SBAllen did indeed resign. Though it probably had to do with being dragged into working on a bunch of Fandom stuff he didn't care about more than general burnout.

I do suspect that's a legitimate "problem". I think their 3 options are:

1. Just keep porting Ultimate to each new console and add more DLC.
2. Try to top Ultimate with a new game which has all returning characters. It's possible but very difficult and expensive.
3. Do a full reboot and the next game only has like 20-30 characters. That game would be hated, but it might work out the best in the long run since 1 and 2 aren't sustainable forever while 3 at least has a chance.

I'd personally just go with #1. You'll have some people whining that it's being milked just like Skyrim and GTAV, but it's worth it and deserved.
