On a totally different note thinking about Nest Performance, just randomly found out that FFXVI and Alan Wake II have the same performance director. Just casually directing possibly the two best acted games of the year!

Now this is something that deserves it's own Category.

The VA director is arguably more important than the talent of the VAs themselves in some cases.

Some 4 piece sets are very good for specific characters. The new DoT set 4 piece in particular is so good that in certain comps it my be BiS even for some non dot characters, just like the Quantum 4 piece is so good that even non Quantum characters may want it against Quantum weak enemies. So of course for actual DoT and Quantum characters those sets are absolutely the best possible.

Kafka is a wierd one because 4 piece lightning is actually specifically good for her playstyle. 4 piece DoT is better but it's not severe. Other dot units all def want 4 piece DoT.

Nobody wants 4 piece fire. Hook is the only argument here but she REALLY needs some speed.

4 piece wind is viable but it's super niche and pretty much only Dan Heng wants it, and he'd probably be better off with 2 pc attack.

4 piece Ice is actually very good for the current Ice DPS. Both Yanqing and especially Jing Liu thrive with it.

4 piece Imaginary is basically just the Welt set.

4 piece physical is basically just the Sushang set now, though Clara can still do just fine with it, very comparable to 2 piece followup.

4 piece followup is absolutely BiS for Jing Yuan, Topaz, and Himeko, straight up.

4 piece HP is just for Blade.

4 piece Speed is just the default support set.

4 piece Healing isn't worth. 4 piece break set is NEVER worth even on Break Effect builds.

The only unit who you could possibly argue 4 piece Musketeer for is DHIL, and 2 piece with Imaginary is better.

I want a Zelda that's only dungeons.

Even Hyrule Field is too much.

I mean there's some truth to the statement, or at least understandable confusion. Most of TotK's new ideas were originally designed with the intention of being DLC, before being transitioned into a new game because they had too many new features.

While it's an exaggeration to all it DLC, the games are similar enough that I don't think the scenario of not liking BotW but liking TotK doesn't really exist.

I actually have not even heard people talk much about Future Redeemed, which is surprising with how nuts the trailers were. Certainly not in the same way as Torna, which I heard about plenty looooong even playing the XB games.

You just have to ignore which emotions those were!

Absolutely amazed Death Stranding took the majority, but I can't remeber what the competition was that year.

I don't think anything in gaming has ever made me angrier than everything about the ending that took place on that beach. I was literally pacing the room out of anger for how terrible it was. Die-Hardman's speach at the end was peak, though.

I will still be first in line for Death Stranding 2 regardless because I'm a tool.

Look, I bought and am enjoying Mario Wonder. I just don't, like....respect it?? It's just throwaway turn your brain off fun. I'd sacrifice a dozen new 2D Marios for a new 3D Mario.

3D Mario and Fire Emblem are really the only Nintendo franchises that can do it for me nowadays. If they put out a full, non-open world Zelda I'd jump on it for sure, though.

I was gonna say that I sadly can't play Hi-Fi Rush, but that game released for PC too so maybe my Laptop can actually play it! Didn't even think about that.

Beta leaks should start hitting for the 1.6 characters over the next couple days after tomorrow's patch hits.

So desperate for structured, linear AAA games. And yes, I plan on picking up Alan Wake Remastered once Black Friday hits because that series will probably hit those buttons too.

Shame it seems I have to beat Control again to play the Alan Wake DLC, but at least the game won't be on fire this time like when I played it on the base PS4. Being able to reliably crash the game by rapidly hitting the swap weapon button without fail was pretty fun.

I do not know why this took 2 years, other than the supposed 20 hour length. Arise was a perfectly fine mid-tier Tales game that helped bump op the series' presentation quality, but I don't think I want to spend 20 hours running through an epilogue with little actual new content.

Feel like doing something dumb and farming a Talia Planar Set for Hanya and Asta.

With Speed Boots Hanya is at 144 Speed with her Traces, so easy to reach that 145 there.

Asta only needs 3 speed substats and she can get there with her Ult without even needing speed boots....still baffled she has Crit Traces. What are her and Fu Xuan doing with those.

Finally managed to get all the worthless Crit off of Luocha. Also tuned his attack down enough to be satisfactory without fucking up my tuning in SU.
