I don't know much about our salmon farms. I thought it was mainly Norway who did that. Actually now that you mention it there's some new ads about some kinds of farms where they have fish as like part of a closed ecosystem. Maybe that's it? The blood thing is messy here too. I just stopped donating because my iron depos are getting depleted

Whoops, that was a fail on my part. In typical American fashion I confused the Scandinavian countries with each other even though you did say Sweden.

Well I don't know if the option is available in your country, however here we can donate plasma and make an extra 400-600 a month depending on the company. Haven't been able to do so for some years now cause of Mad Cow.

That's comforting to hear. I've become increasingly worried after learning about your salmon farms and the fact that I can't donate blood for like another year because I lived in Germany for 6 months during the mid-90s (looking it up it seems your country wasn't actually one of the guilty parties, just lumped that in there since they use that metric for people who lived anywhere in Europe during the 90s and wants to donate blood or plasma in the U.S., or at least that's what the plasma place told me a few years ago).

I don't know, that's the thing with the election still being a year away. If it were this week, I'd have no confidence he'd win, however there's a year to go with Mike Johnson as House Speaker and Trump's trials coupled with his unhinged responses until the actual election.

Arab-Americans and Americans of Arabic descent are definitely justified in their contempt for how he's handling this war, however come election time they'll have to weigh another disappointing U.S. President on supporting Israel vs a dude who wants an even worse Muslim ban than he wanted in 2016 and who would absolutely directly help Netanyahu genocide the Palestinians as POTUS.

They're going to vote however they do.

I do worry about the elections currently happening, however. Especially in NH and VA, where the Dems are hanging on to stopping a red wall of death by 1-3 seats.

Or they're just being disingenuous and know it's not Biden's fault, but blame him for whatever reason.

Yeah, this issue has actually caused a rather unexpected upheavel for much of the populace and Dems they respected.

Not gonna lie, whenever a YT vid is posted here from an unknown source on something political it always has a shitty thumbnail that repulses me from any interest so it's interesting to learn that it's something their industry almost demands of them in order to achieve their goals and dreams for their channel.

The US has been Islamophobic since 9/11 and always will be, forever. It's as simple as that. The younger generations grow up in Islamophobia and end up phobic.

The younger generations are objectively and measurably more pro-Palestinian than the older generations.

When looking at pro-Palestinian or Jewish people calling for a ceasefire those attending are overwhelmingly younger.

The age of the Internet has allowed for younger generations to be more interconnected and exposed to demographics and situations such as the plight of the Palestinians that older generations did not have easy access to, so would either form their own opinions based off of biased ignorance or from trusted "sources", which since that's traditionally been the U.S. mainstream media we see why they were led astray into being Israeli government shills.

It's a lot easier for the Israeli government to sell their bullshit to older people than ones who have known about their bullshit for years already thanks to the Information Highway.

If anything end individual state governments, our country shows what a travesty that is when put into practice.
