She got drawn to them by fate. The trailer explains it partly. She us trying to save their lives. The villain is hunting the girls for some reason.

She is connected to the Web Of Life I think its called. The same thing Miles was shown in Across The Spider-Verse whwn being explained about canon events

I know. Most people don't read comics. But that doesn't change the fact that Thor 4 butchered a comic story. They didn't have to use the Gorr the God Butcher story. They could have used any Thor story or made up something. I have no idea why they picked THAT story and then "have fun on set" with it

I know that but I don't think you understand just how much they butchered the Gorr arc. I don't expect 1 to 1. But when they turn a super dark story into a family comedy, something is wrong. They completely changed the tone of the plot

I don't get the hate for Thor 4. I loved it. The whole point was to entertain and it most certainly did. The only bad thing about it was the portrayal of Zeus. It was a complete mockery of the source material.

Because anyone who read the comic story its based on, knows how they butchered the story. The comic is very serious, and one of the darkest Thor stories ever. The beginning of the story starts off like a serial killer mystery. Thor actually spends a thousand years figuring out whats going on, as he occasionally comes across dead god murder scenes. The movie turned something that could have easily been rated R and made it into a jokey fun adventure

I could be mistaken, but I thought it was the higher-ups that wanted to cut out a lot of the darker scenes from Love and Thunder to make it more comedic and lighthearted.

At very least, it seems like Christian Bale thought Love and Thunder was going to be a much different film from what was actually released.
