That's a shame. I will admit that I got some laughs out of that kind of humor at one point as well. The original Scary Movie comes to mind. That movie was hilarious when I was 14. I'm not sure if it would hold up on a rewatch.

Yeah even I cringe a little when there's lazy humor like that. If it's any consolation for NATM, I usually laugh at stuff like this scene:

Eh, he's just using his normal voice. It really should be deeper, but I recognize that's probably just me being bias from his old dub voice. While I don't like his content on youtube, it's basically "video game industry doom and gloom" the channel and one reason why I unsubbed from Jim Sterlings channel (though my friend did tell me it's gotten better, so I might give it another shot), I do enjoy his voice acting. He fucking killed it as Father Pucci in Stone Ocean, I can't help but feel a deeper less "preacher like" voice of Pucci would've worked for Kiryu better.

It was, and unfortunately, I used to think they were so funny. Growing up does a lot to change ones sense of humor. It's kind of why I really dislike anime's that always portray someone who is LGBT as a pervert that wants to rape/sexual harass people.

Yeah they should do it where anytime there's a new Japanese character in the Tekken series, they're just a bastard child of Heihachi for the lolz.

She looks really cool though. Victor is still my top choice for best new Original Tekken 8 character, with Reina coming in second. Azucena just feels like any waifu character ever made, but her dance is fucking fire:

Amazing how well these things can come out when the end goal is something better than just doing a mirror match finale between a hero and equally powered villian.

100%. So sick of the finale being some CGI fest with almost no stakes of a hero vs a villain. Easily the best finale we got for a MCU show yet. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction.

As a 5'6 person here and was still considered short even in my childhood and teen years, it really does get to you when there's such a double standards against short people. Where you're openly mocked for something you can't control and you're forced to be okay with it but make fun of someone over something controllable, like their weight, and all of a sudden you're the asshole. How I get called a midget when I'm not. I tried everything in the book to make myself taller like drinking milk, having my younger brother pull on my legs, using supplments that will supposedly "help" with growing, etc. My mom is 5'6, my dad is 5'10, my younger brother is 5'11, and finally my younger sister is 5'7. I always found it humiliating how everyone assumes my brother and sisters are older than me, where I don't want to take a picture next to my mom because I hate how we're on even grounds. It gets to you.

I felt like this from childhood through my early college years. How did I grow out of it though? Having a good mentor both my life and fitness coach that emphasized self improvement and noted that while I will have massive disadvantages because of my height. With his words, I instead of bitching and moaning about it I might as well improve on things that I can control like my body/health, aiming to graduate and get a good job, improve my social skills by forcing myself to be put in a uncomfortable social setting, etc. There's always something to improve upon and positive changes in my life didn't automatically start because of it, but eventually it did. I met my wife 3 years ago at a community service event at a local church near my apartment. If i still had the toxic mindset I used to have, I would never be in a position to start a friendship with her that naturally became a relationship to marriage.

Yeah I know this is a TMI, but it's something I am very passionate about when sharing. I'm hoping my life experience can at least attempt to be relatable in someway, even as small as possible. The last thing I want is for people to have a toxic view on life in general, I know I've been there and faced it before...and I fucking hated it. I'm the most happy in my life that I could be at the moment, espcially with my second child coming really soon.

Best Finale for a MCU show by far. The show is still no Andor, but I gotta give it to them that was one hell of an ending. I did not expect them to go this route. He Who Remains just went from a 5/10 from season 1 to a 9/10 in season 2. When he told Loki that no matter what "You lose.", that was fucking fire. Loki still loses, but he experienced soo much character development in this show from season 1 that honestly he probably did win in the end. He made a lot of friends and was willing to make a great sacrifice like this when Loki from Avengers 1 wouldn't have ever thought of such a thing. He basically made the Yggdrasil of the timelines and he finally got a throne.

8.5/10 show just for the finale alone. It meandered a lot in the middle episodes and I'm still kinda of confused how the whole time thing works, but it was the best ride I had so for a MCU show. It's my favorite MCU show yet.

Yeah "death" of super hero movies is a hyperbole. They would've died years ago if that was the case. I think what people are specifically talking about is the MCU formula and if they keep making mediocre movie after mediocre movies, they'll end up like the deceased DCEU Synderverse. Granted, the MCU is still in a better position than DC movies.

Is it confirmed what was leaked by Steven "I beat my wife and show my junk to co-workers" Crowder was legit, or faked? Is that all there is to say, then?

The most we have right now is the court ordering 7 Nashville police officers on "administrative assignment" regarding the leaks and who was responsible for it. The fact they're trying to find out who did it probably leads to believe that it might be real, but it's safer to be skeptical until proven otherwise.

As a Mario fanboy, it's a 8.5/10 for the amount of fanservice stuffed into the movie. But on its own merits? The critics got it right, it's a 5/10 mediocre movie. Without the constant fanservice, it doesn't give anything for non-Mario fans to enjoy, except for the kids. The only reason I can consider it a family movie is because a lot of Millenials now are adults so it has enough nostalgia to entertain us and has enough colorful things happening on screen for the kids to enjoy, but otherwise I consider it a kids movie.

It's a mix of English not being his native language to having more talking than doing actual action scenes. Brett Ratner had a huge dislike in having action scenes last more than 2 minutes, for some reason. He said he had fun working with Chris Tucker, but that the whole situation in making the movies was just unfun for him and he dislike the direction the movies took. The only reason he agrees to make them is so he can use the Revenue generated from the movie to make his own movies.
