The bad guy is right!" For one we don't know if there's established rules for these wishes to begin with. Even Genie has rules in Aladdin. But like...isn't it obvious that the the journey of the heroine herself is that we should make our own wishes come true and that their kingdom being built around wishes is flawed? Has media literacy got this low that people are believing that the premise given to them by a villain in a trailer is correct?
