I don't think its particularly likely just like you probably won't get sick from undercooked meat most of the time... its just supposed to be one of the worst food poisonings when it does happen. The real danger is rice.

You have to refrigerate it straight away, and you shouldn't leave it more than a day if you want to be absolutely safe (you'll probably get away with 2-3 at most). And make sure it's properly heated through, if you don't want stuff coming out of both ends later.
