Made it: Us and Them (Chinese) - I enjoyed the film throughout, but the ending fucking pushes it way over the edge. Ive never seen a movie that covered this subject matter in such a realistic but meaningful way. The credits are actually great too.

Ruined it: So many Shyamalamadingdong movies, but Glass takes the cake for not only ruining itself but also ruining one of his only good movies (Unbreakable) and a movie Im told is fine but Ive never seen (Split).

Thats kind of awesome. Not only did the cat save what is probably a vital source of public transportation for that community, it provided a new source of income for the residents in the form of tourism.

Most people who purport to be Pro-Life only do so because their religion of choice tells them to. In their minds, they know that a vast majority of abortions are performed before the fetus begins to resemble anything wed consider a person. They know that the other (vast minority of) abortions are largely performed because they are either medically necessary or because the recipient was held back (by people like them) from getting an abortion earlier in the pregnancy. They know that outlawing abortions wont stop them and will just make them more dangerous. They know that access to abortions, in general, is a social good.

They want to say that theyre pro-life because it makes them feel morally superior, while also not letting the issue affect their lives in any meaningful way but, unfortunately for them, their position necessitates the belief that millions of babies are being legally murdered every year. Their response to this mass infanticide? The bare-minimum: half-hearted discussion/debate/bible-thumping and pushing for anti-abortion laws they know wont solve anything.

If they really believed, they would take more serious action (For the record, Im very glad they dont, but that doesnt change the fact that they would).

Pretty sure the issue is that half the X series (the latter half, at that) ranges from okay to absolute trash.

Say what you will about how uninnovative the Classic series is, all of its entries are at least fun to play.

Like, I dont personally like how much 11 leaned on non-Classic mechanics and even I can admit it was fun when it wasnt all about slow-mo (It very much wasnt Mega Man Classic though).

Kind of a dumb question for two reasons:

1: For most, it depends heavily on the specifics.

2: Its VERY, VERY easy to say yes because theres no emotional attachment to a hypothetical. If youre with your wife of 24 years and youve put everything into the relationship you might be inclined to consider couples counseling even if youd normally answer knee-jerk yes to the question.

It was pretty good. The Lumalee definitely stole the show. I was kind of impressed with the amount of love that was put in. So many references even people whove played Mario might not recognize.

My favorite might be when Mario sees a glass pipe and the music changes to a 3DW/3DL version of the track that was already playing.

And Charles Martinet at the beginning, of course.
