Dead Rising 1 was such a unique experience. It really saddens me that they made another mall Dead Rising right afterwards. Especially after Case Zero, which was absolutely incredible and should have been a full game. I would have much rather played a Dead Rising in a small abandoned western town than in another mall.

Up until 3 I would have said MK. Street Fighter takes it, but if I could pick any fighter, it would either be Capcom VS. Snk 2, or Guilty Gear X2.

I gained 30 lbs during my first stint at college thinking I was eating healthy food. Turns out the college was using salt on everything, hence why it tasted so good. Even when I was eating soups and wraps I was gaining weight. Wasn't fun. I'm now just shy of 280. I was at 265, but I had issues with my movement so I put on a few lbs. Now waiting for my cousin to reopen his home gym so I can get back down.

You just learn to live with it. You go from not giving a fuck to giving all kinds of fucks but at the same time realize that things are going to happen regardless. I take my health more seriously now at 37 than I did at 27. I'm in the process of losing weight, which isn't easy when your not used to exercising. You also learn that the world is a harsh place that doesn't give a damn if your healthy or sick and can't be bothered to use logic when determining logical things.

Yeah.... I still to this day think that games like Wintermaul Wars and Footmen Frenzy would be amazing mobile experiences. Sadly, they manage to mess everything up. Even Plants vs Zombies went from a game that was beloved to a game that was completely monopolized to hell and back. I actually enjoyed some of PVZ2. I would have gladly paid 40 dollars for a full version of that.

I'm personally more of a fan of Thriller Bark. Dressrosa has its moments, but overall it just didn't hit me like Thriller Bark did. Sadly, Wano was kind of bad. It's way too long, and while Dressrosa is a close second, Dressrosa accomplishes more.

I'm specifically talking Nintendo, not 3rd party. Any sales that happen at a retail store are based on that retail store. When Nintendo was clearing their E-Shop of Wii-U and 3DS games, they had practically zero sales on their first party content. I'm talking games that are 10+ years old. Meanwhile, you look at Borderlands 2 which right now costs 16 USD, roughly a 3rd of launch price.

I don't ignore sales happening. 3rd party games go on sale all the time on the E-Shop. But, that said, I wanted to play Super Mario Odyssey and buy it off the E-Shop I'm spending 79.99 CAD plus tax, whereas a local shop might have it for 50. I just don't have the room for physical games anymore.

I have the first 3 Sonic games on Genesis. Still trying to find a Sonic and Knuckles locally. The only game of those 3 I never revisit is Sonic 1. It really hasn't aged well.

In retail stores, and that's not Nintendo dropping the price, that's the retail stores trying to move extra inventory in favor of newer inventory. Nintendos online store always has Breath of the Wild at full price, which in Canada is 79.99 plus taxes, aka close to 95 dollars after tax.

It's not drop in quality, its increase in prices and keeping them increased. Nintendo has a habit of being really dumb when it comes to selling product that is 5 years old. Instead of BOTW being sold at a reasonable 3/4 of its original price, they still have it at full price 5 years later. Even before the announcement of TOTK.

I am not that lucky. My cancer came back so I had to abandon my work term 1 month early. The company I was working for was amazing, they paid me how much I would have gotten for the full work term, but that caused issues with EI. Long story short, EI are assholes who can't use their fucking heads to see that someone who is going through Chemo cannot work or be around people, so they disqualified me from getting EI benefits... twice because of lack of hours, which I would have gotten if I was allowed to work, which I wasn't. I'm in the process of appealing it through a higher power, like a grand jury but I doubt anything will come from that.... I digress.

I had to put my house up for sale because I'm living with my parents atm while I'm recovering and looking for work. And because there is currently an IT hiring freeze, I am having a hard time finding regular work in my field. And I choose to not work retail because I have a fucking port in my chest which means I can't do super heavy lifting which I know they will ask me to do because retail stores where I live are assholes and try to get away with as much shit as possible.

Sorry for cursing, I just get so angry when thinking about the local retail market as I've worked so many stores here and they all treated me like shit. Meanwhile my IT company treated me like treasure.

I've used it on occasion. I still have a bottle of it at home. I use it on bbq chicken, though I got messed up taste buds so I tend to over do it.

Vaccinations help but vaccinated people can still be damaged. Some still die, long Covid is a thing. There are various studies pointing to possible really bad stuff for getting Covid and every infection will make it worse. There's still a lot we don't know. But it's not benign.

Plastered all around the hospital grounds at my hospital are no smoking signs, and clearly you can see cigarette butts, not to mention people smoking without a care and security doing nothing about it. Hell, there were people smoking right outside the Cancer center.

Yes. I just got over a bout with Cancer and had to go through Chemo, so I'm not taking any risks even if its for naught. Also wear a C-PAP machine mask if that counts lol. Before I had that machine I might get 1/2 hr sleep a night. Now I get at least 6 hours. Huge change to my mood and personality.

I had a black cat at one point. Me and my roommate named him Popo. Vicious little fucker. It was a combination of him being adopted way too early and my roommate deciding to be the sole one to train him. We really didn't have a choice in taking him, the family that had the litter was threatening to leave the kittens outside in the winter cold if no one took them and there were 2 left (our friends took the other one). Our winters get to -20c (-4f) I'm pretty sure we reported that family to the police afterwards.

maybe 15 years ago? I liked the flamethrower burger, but it wasn't anything to go out of my way for. Doesn't help that they jacked up prices of everything on their menu. Costs near 10 dollars for a large Blizzard. Not worth the price, especially when Costcos soft serve is 3 bucks and gives you a ton of ice cream.

1 certainly wasn't. It's easy if you know what classes you need to beat the game, but I found myself constantly dying to poison and running out of antidotes.... or whatever they are called in that game.

The easiest way to play 5 is to give Sheeva the infinite bow. She has a habit of wasting ammo. I found it a good game, though the ending left much to be desired.

No Way Home to me should have been at least 2 movies, possibly heading into 3. They compacted the entire storyline into a single movie and that really hurt it. It hurt even more to see Venom be tossed aside the way he was.

IMO it should have went like this: The first movie deals with the world breaking with the wish going wrong. You can introduce a couple alternate universe characters like Lizard and Doc Oc. But really focus on the inception style world break. Towards the end of the movie we introduce Venom and maybe Andrew Garfields Spiderman.

The second movie is Spidermen vs Venom. Which leads into Doc Oc and Lizard finding a way to return people to their own universe, thus sending Venom back where he came from, but not before a piece of the symbiote rips off. In the second half of the movie we see Tom Hollands Spiderman adapt the venom symbiote, but it goes out of control. Thus enter Tobey Mcguire Spider-Man. He can talk to Tom Hollands Spider-Man about his experiences with the symbiote and how it has its own personality.

If there were to be a 3rd movie, then we would reintroduce Goblin and Electro, both as villains. Maybe have Goblin use sound to remove the venom symbiote from Toms Spider-Man, in an attempt to have Venom-Goblin, but Andrew Garfields Spiderman gets in the way and temporarily gets bonded. They could do a play on the Mask, where each version of the Mask has its own personality depending on the host. Eventually it seeps off to the sewers and attaches itself to Flash Thompson, or this worlds Eddie Brock in an attempt to have some form of Agent Venom in a teaser to the next film.

Finally having some opportunity to send everyone back home, but venom somehow still stays bonded in this universe. I would probably end off the film with The Beyonder and Madam Webb showing up teasing Spider Wars/Secret Wars.

I really wish they had hung on to Apocalypse for when the X-Men finally are able to join the MCU. He was one of the few villains, along with Galactus and MODOK that could have really pushed a great villain into the film franchise. I mentioned it in the other topic, but they could also go the way of Mojo. Really play up the character like Clown from the Spawn movie. It's just a matter of getting them into the franchise in the first place.

Owning a video game store. ....And then the Blockbuster situation happened and 90 percent of all game rental stores shut down. Sure they exist nowadays, but not nearly as much as it did when I was growing up. I would spend most of my free time at those stores, talking to the staff about games and pop culture.

As for DC... maybe Soloman Grundy? I know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been begging to play Thomas Waynes Batman, though to no success so far.

It can... and I've said this about all consoles, they need identity. It's fine to have games put on lockdown for a couple months, but they really need to give bigger indie studios a 10 year locked down contract where they will only release for the PS5. For example, if Lies of P were to be a PS5 exclusive that could drive a bunch of sales right there, since people have been begging for a Bloodborne sequel and right now that's about as close as we are going to get.

I would go one step further and lock down the creators of Atomic Heart, and other companies like that. Really start to build a fresh library of solid titles that people can get behind.

An expert can tell you things, but it doesn't mean its correct. It's up to you to double check the information or get a second opinion. You can take advice from an "expert", but they aren't all knowing. No one can be expected to know everything, as things change all the time.

Case in point, my friend went to the hospital with extreme stomach pain. The "Expert" told him to go back to school and that he was just wasting his time because he wanted to be out of school for the day and hang out with friends and he had seen it all the time. My friend.... the straight A student who has never missed a class in his life, who stays after class to work on assignments, and was working on becoming valedictorian. He went back to that same doctor 3 times in the following days and kept getting sent back home. He went to a different hospital, found out his appendix was about to burst.

My own doctor told me for years that I had Asthma and that I needed an inhaler. That doctor retired and I got a new doctor who sent me to get tested for sleep apnea, one of the tests is an Asthma test. They straight up told me that I never had Asthma based on the test results.

They really are. My 20s were shit. My 30s are sort of a mixed bag but more positives than negatives. Sure I got diagnosed with cancer twice and had to sell my house thanks to EI being a bunch of assholes who wont fund someone who had to leave his work term early which forced me to not have enough hours to qualify for the money, but I digress.

I also graduated from college, the chemo treatment reset my genes so I can finally grow facial hair (though my regular hair is super thin right now, apparently its temporary), I owned my first house, learned a ton of new skills, and what I want out of life. I'm also talking to a woman now which may turn into something, or maybe not, who knows, I'm just in it for the ride.

I don't even have the money for regular lego sets let alone themed sets... I saw a Star Wars themed set once that was going for 150 CAD. That's way above my budget. Meanwhile I can get half a dozen video games for that price. More if I buy used.

There is one major difference between Xenoblade and FFX. In FFX Tidus is transported to a new world and his entire goal is to make his way back home. In Xenoblade, Shulk is already home, and is forced to leave to deal with a bigger issue.

Haven't worked for 6 months due to medical issues. Finally get back to looking for jobs, barely any jobs in my field (IT) where I live, and a lot of them are asking for references, which apparently I'm not allowed to give due to recent changes in retail protocols. At least where I live, retail supervisors/managers are no longer allowed to be used as references even if you did a good job there. So I'm forced to use personal references which a lot of places hate.

Back to looking for work. If this keeps up I might end up just starting a side hustle, as I'm in desperate need for money, due to E.I not approving me for assisted income, and the only other income support out there hasn't updated their pay outs in about 20 years, so they are still paying 400/m when basic living is at least 1500.

First world problems.
