This was one of my favorites. And yeah, Sealab 2021 was superior, until they replaced Captain Murphy after his va died.

Over 17 years.
Quit at one because they wouldn't work with my college schedule.
Purposely stopped going into my grand 2 hour a week retail job because I got another one. So fired due to no show. Don't care.
My position was "downsized" at another.
Terminated for no show due to an allergic illness I developed from the manufacturing work I was doing. Honestly that was a god send.
Contract not renewed at another.

The work I have now, even if it's only substitute work (while supposedly waiting for a full time slot that's been promised for over a year now). It's more solid work than any of those.

Yup. Been there. Retail is the absolute worst. So honestly when I hear the crying from them about how they're doing poorly because Amazon is taking their business. Good. I would say I feel bad for the employees that will be out of work but considering everyone below supervisor level at every place I worked had under 8 hours a week. Sometimes as low as 2 hours per week. There's very little difference between nothing and that. Especially when you factor in commute which a lot of people had.

Just fuck retail management types. Just fuck them right in the eye and the corporations they work for too.

Grand Canyon. But as said already, there are much better national parks nearby it.
I'm going again next month but I've been a few times. It's amazing to look at. The scale of it is incredible. And while you can use the trail to walk down it a way. Unless you're a seasoned hiker and plan on hoofing down all the way and then back or are on the mules to do it. You really just walk down a bit and turn back.
You're never in it even though you're in it if you know what I mean. Zion, Bryce and others you have all these different trails. Different locations within the park, different rock formations to hike and see. Grand Canyon I would describe more as just being a static image you can walk into a little and your perspective of it changes slightly. But largely, just like walking around the edge, your view of it stays the same. As big and impressive as it is, there's not much to it.

Disneyworld strikes me a just Disneyland with x10 the crowd size and suffocating humidity.

Wtf does "lit" even mean? I'm old, I'm 35 okay. I just went to my youngest brother's hs graduation yesterday and every speaker, both student and teacher/administrator referred to his class as being "lit!". And god was is embarrassing to have to hear. I mean the kids you can chalk up to being stupid and thinking it sounds cool but jesus, having to hear 60 year old men use the term is cringe inducing.

DBZ Cell saga in the late 90s on the Korean channel. So Japanese audio with Korean subtitles. We had no idea what the hell we were watching but it was entertaining.

I work in one. The high school has a security officer and a fat city police officer than is bitter as hell (and you can read between the lines that the rest of the cops don't want her where they are) that's stuck in a closet sized windowless room watching the security camera feeds all day.
And they both act in ways that I and other employees have mentioned there's some serious murky water they're in as to if what they do and how they act is legal. The consensus around here is that the district and city police are one loaded parent away from a massive lawsuit. They're going to pick on the wrong kid someday.

See I don't blame the drug. It's him. He needs a crutch. Something he can't live without because his life is so fucked up it helps him. It's all in his head. He's always been this way, he's always wanted to get drugs. Only this is the extreme where he's not going to take part unless we let him do his drugs in my house, in the parking lot, on a trip. like an ultimatum. You want me there? Then you have to accept and let me do my drugs. And if you don't then it's your fault I wasn't there.

I need a therapist so he can give me anti depressants.

We have my youngest brother who couldn't be more different and better off thank god is living in there and is a minor. My mother doesn't put a stop to it. That "dealer" of his that comes inside. My mother who wants to just ignore it all obviously doesn't do squat to stop it.
