Got this from their recent patch notes where they fixed some glitches involving the recent DLC. Could this be an alternative to amiibo? Also seems like it might be Switch-exclusive.

The man does not have to spell it out. He knows the game won't be anything extraordinary like people want it to be. It's Pokemon. It's not going to break the mold anytime soon.

I think people mainly just wanted a mainline Pokémon RPG on a home console.

Just finished watching it. I enjoyed it, it's basically a typical romance film set in space with some tension/peril towards the end to try to make things more interesting. I think if you go into the movie knowing it's really just a romance film with a space twist it's okay.

Same. Also for some reason I lost a bit of interest after the reveal of who the leader of the Children of Arkham was. Even though when it happened I was shocked and wanted to learn why. I dunno, it's a bit weird.

Also now it really seems like Joker is gonna play a bigger lead so it's gonna feel like a retread now. The trailer showed that Riddler was gonna be the main villain but I swear the voiceover sounded like Joker (complete with an insane laugh).

Actually, the runes you get on the Great Plateau are pretty much all you get. Yeah. They pretty much did that to drive home the design of "go anywhere you want" with no restrictions. If you do keep playing though, I recommend using the Spirit Orbs to upgrade stamina over health so you'll have easier access to areas. There's a limit to how much stamina you can upgrade (get up to three wheels) so you'll be able to do health once that's done.

BotW is definitely a "make your own fun" kind of game, really. There's a reason they marketed it as a "yes" game, because the game lets you try so many things that actually do something. If there's one thing I loved about Breath of the Wild over most other open-world games is the fact that you can traverse literally anywhere you want. I wish more open-world games had a similar function like that.

My friend is a single mom, but there's no way she could've known it. The ex she was with was really nice and they've been together for a few years, but then all of a sudden once she had the baby he turned out to be a real shit head that abused her.

A lot of the game's competitiveness is from legitimate mechanics. Wavedashing's probably the only legit major glitch I can think of, and even then that's a simple exploit thanks to air dodging being possible before even leaving the ground after jumping.

Also, let's try not to go down the route of not counting a game because of glitches. The entire concept of combos came about because of a glitch in SF2, and many FG developers keep certain things as actual features when players find things that the devs didn't even know about.

I feel the chapter naming really did the game a disservice. Peace Walker did the exact same thing with its story and people didn't complain simply because they weren't expecting much more from the story. The main story ended with Snake neutralizing the Peace Walker, the rest of the story (unlocked through tedium and lots of side ops) was labeled as an epilogue.

Granted, MGSV had a few loose ends to tie up after Skull Face was taken care of (the main threat in the story), but the story that was there was better suited as an epilogue.

That's a stupid excuse. Nobody recognizes Clark Kent. It's a dumb superhero movie, nobody cares and his raspy voice is awful.

The funny thing is that even in the same movie they still do the "Batman disguises his voice" thing when Superman doesn't. (BvS) Although I like the digitized disguiser they used, to be fair.

Gex is one of those things where I think a new game would hold up more than a remaster, even with the "updated" voice clips.

Like, a Gex reboot would essentially be him being an internet loser and Netflix binger and we'd get levels based on internet memes and current hot Netflix shows.

Do this and you'll be lost on a lot of story elements. Dream Drop Distance is a sequel to 2 and sets up 3, for example.

But yeah, get the compilation remaster for PS4 as well as the 2.8 compilation that has the prologue to 3 and play/watch everything in release order.

Finally someone here who doesn't worship Kevin Conroy. He sounded so boring in the Arkham games. No emotion. Such a Mary Sue sounding voice. He was great in the cartoons, but his voice in the games didn't work too well.

Yeah, I have a feeling it has to do with age, too. Kevin was able to do a really great Batman voice back then because at least he could convey emotion, but not so much now. The "overly-stoic" Batman voice is dull, and it's not like he was directed to do that outside the Arkham games.

My jaw dropped when I saw the Bonus Stages (the ones from sparkling checkpoints).
Also, in case you don't quite get the Time Attack mode, you can reset the stage with a press of a button if you mess up, instantly reloads you back to the beginning with no other screens. Makes speed-running extremely convenient!

Color Splash gets too much hate just for sharing Sticker Star's game play. Sticker Star was essentially flawed on all counts, Color Splash fixed most of them.

Still not great, but I love the visuals and the charm greatly reminds me of the past Paper Marios.
