My brother was involved with that group for a while. He totally seemed brainwashed and me and a number of people called him on it. He got mad at all of us and thought we were just giving him crap. He ended up quitting when he got to the point where they were asking him to donate a ton of his time to the organization.


I was glad to finally have my real brother back.

Sounds like there is some usefulness to what they teach, but you got to be careful to not get too deep into it.

I just want to see this old ladies work tbh. I have a hard time imagining it was any good nor that it was worthy of an F. Though I also have a hard time imagining someone seeing the syllabus on the first day, not liking the content, and then proceeding to take the course and just complain.

This story is full of crap I don't understand. The instructor does kind of sound like an annoying left winger, but the old lady also sounds like an annoying right winger.

I mean, how do you fail this type of class unless you just didn't turn your work in? Or your work would have to be complete and utter crap. Critiquing writing is a somewhat subjective thing and you could argue for the difference between an A and a B, but outright failing someone? Like WTF.

The instructor has the right to influence the course material to a significant degree and the old lady has the right to take or not take the class.

My gut tells me the instructor had crappy content for her course, but the old lady is way more dumb for a much longer list of reasons.

"The disciplinary letter cites a letter in Loehmann's personnel file from Independence that says he was emotionally immature and had 'an inability to emotionally function.' The letter also cites an emotional breakdown Loehmann had on the gun range in Independence."

Cleveland authorities also announced that Frank Garmback, the officer driving the patrol car at the time Loehmann shot Rice, would be suspended for 10 days for administrative rule violations of his own. He would also be required to take a tactical training course.

You realize this isn't exactly a defense of this particular law enforcement officers ability to police right? It seems that they more than imply he was ruled completely unfit for duty at one point. Him lying about that doesn't give you the impression that he suddenly became fit for duty at his new job.
