One of my favorite setups were to fill all the available weapon slots with N-Bombs, then play with 8 sims as well as 4 players. Was quite fun.

Another one of my favorites was Slayer hide and seek - you only allow Slayer second function, and essentially play hide and seek with the guided rockets.

While everyone else double-taps duck so that their screen goes black, so you can't see where they are?

I think it's because the younger generation is just recently learning about the impact GoldenEye had, and while it was very influential and memorable for gaming, Perfect Dark is what we should be remembering and paying tribute to more. I'm still pissed how much love and effort continues to go into GoldenEye: Source.

I love The Sims 3, I think I've only had one fire in there, seems they're less likely than in previous games, same with burglaries, I only have the base game though so maybe that changes with expansions I dunno

It feels like Sims 2 and 3 tries to manufacture these things to happen. I remember in Sims 2 lots of times while someone was cooking, the phone would conveniently ring so they would be distracted so a fire could start.

See, I don't think a girl wanting to date a guy taller than her is even a bad thing at all. Makes sense, is perfectly reasonable, etc. Guys often like more petite women so it checks out.

What I don't get is how a girl can be around eight inches shorter than me (like 5'0" even) and still demand a guy that is at least 6'2". As it stands I have had more luck trying to date women that are taller than me than ones that are a good deal shorter.

I think the shorter you are, the more used you are to people being taller than you, so you end up desiring people even taller. Like, since it becomes something you end up wanting so much, you end up wanting it more. I think that's why the shorter girls end up being the ones with a strangely demanding requirement for height.

Compare this to a guy I heard about who was something like 6'5, and he sought out the shortest girls he could. When asked about it, he said he liked to manhandle them in bed, to which his friend was like, "You're fucking huge, you could manhandle anyone." And he could, but he still preferred the shortest girls he could find.

I just think the demands people have for height get more extreme the taller or shorter they are.

Well, now I have nothing else to say.

And if I wanted to be more specific, it would be a laundry list of stuff, all of which I complain about so frequently, I'm sure it's been heard before. I mean, where do you begin with the horrible appearance I was born with, and can't change? Let's start with how broad my shoulders are, which are wider than a football quarterback's. Or how my body seems to build muscle way too easily, which means my arms always look pretty big. It's ridiculous. Even someone I knew once described them as "bulbous". Or how about my hands? Someone else I know once pointed out how large they are... And they are. And masculine, too. Thick, big hands which force me into trying to hide them much the same way Uncle Jack does on Always Sunny, but for a completely different reason. Or how about my legs, which alone are very muscular and masculine? Nothing slender or beautiful about them. On top of that, my knees are the biggest, and boniest knees ever. Unmistakably masculine. Or my face, which is blessed with thick eyebrows, and a masculine jawline. Or how about my neck, which is pretty thick as well? My hips, waist, and torso are pretty masculine as well. I'm not as short as I'd like to be either. Right now, I'm 5'5. And 136 lbs, last I was forcefully weighed. ¬_¬ I wish I could be closer to 100 lbs, but I'm pretty fat, too. And my feet are huge, too. I wish they were smaller, but unfortunately, I have size 10-11 feet. Every - single - little - thing about my body, I hate. And there's nothing I can do about it. Nothing I can do to change it. All of these things, I'll just have to live with until I die. In the meantime, as I live, I can look at other luckier people, wishing I had half the things they do. Constantly thinking, "I wish I had that" and constantly hating my appearance.

It didn't, because it wasn't intended to be a crossover. The FF characters just make a cameo, that's all. It's supposed to be Square OCs + Disney.

Most of the FF side of the crossover comes from spells and abilities and a few visual references.

That's because, again, it's not a crossover. And giving magic and items the same names as in the FF series doesn't indicate it's a crossover. The spells and item names are just a reference to FF. If this series were intended to be an FF/Disney crossover, there would've been FF worlds and playable FF characters from the start. It would have actually felt like an FF/Disney crossover, which it doesn't.

I want the FF side to have more influence, but it feels like now even the Disney side of things kinda gets pushed back in favor of the Organization plot.

But it was never intended to have more influence. At the end of KH1, when you get to End of The World, an original KH world, and learn the secret of Kingdom Hearts and end up fighting an original KH villain, lots of people loved it, and rightfully so. So of course Square's gonna try more original stuff. Unfortunately, it does feel like Disney stuff did get pushed to the side. I loved in KH1 when we saw all the Disney villains scheming in the darkness, kinda leaving you wonder who's who, and when or where they'll appear. I loved that feeling. I kinda hope we get that again in KH3, but I doubt we will. ;_;

That's it. That was his response. I don't even know where to begin with that. I started off with asking him what he thinks my wanting to become a girl has to do with homosexuality, but he said he was too tired for an arguement last night, so I let it be. We talked for a little while afterwards, and I was fine, but later after he had went to bed, it started bugging me more and more. I kept thinking about it. Keep to the theme of the Disney/FF crossover.

How in the hell do you feel any "theme" of a "Disney/FF crossover"?

You see the FF characters for a total of like, 1-5% of the entire game. They contribute nothing to the plot. If the game really were a proper "Disney/FF" crossover, then there would be equal time and resources devoted to both. We probably wouldn't even have Sora and the other original characters if this game were intended as such. We'd have only Final Fantasy characters teaming up with Disney characters. We'd be going to Final Fantasy worlds alongside the Disney worlds. For example, Cecil, Terra, Cloud, Squall, etc., etc., would be the main characters the story revolves around along with Disney characters if this were an actual Disney/FF crossover. In KH1, they serve only as exposition, and in KH2, their biggest contribution is the battle in Hollow Bastion. Hell, in some games, there aren't even Final Fantasy characters at all, like in Days. Seriously, how did people play a game as an original, non-FF character accompanied by Disney characters, fighting other non-FF original characters and Disney villains for hours and hours without seeing any FF characters and somehow feel they were playing a Final Fantasy game?

Maybe I just didn't get it, but when I played it in middle school and didn't check the internet for everything, I didn't know that leveling up made the game more difficult - that was counter to every other game that had come out before it and most games that have come since.

I never felt like it actually made the game that much harder. I used to have a couple save files, and one of them had Squall at level 100 at the end of disc 1, with everyone else at level 50. Edea at the end of disc 1 was a piece of cake, because even if enemies might gain levels with you, they have a limit to how far they can go.

The manga had a way better ending.

Instead of Light running out of the warehouse, he realizes he's cornered and asks Ryuk to write everyone's names in his death note. Ryuk instead writes Light's name, saying how disappointed he was. He says he was hoping Light could manage to make it out of this situation, but this time he couldn't. Light realizes he has only 40 seconds left to live and absolutely loses his shit when faced with the fact of his imminent demise. He's practically on the ground clinging to Ryuk, saying how he doesn't want to die.

There's even a "post-credits" epilogue after the end where we see a couple people in hoods carrying candles along a mountain path. For a moment, I wondered if the pages of a totally different manga had somehow been thrown in, but no. At the top of this little path is a shrine, and one girl puts her candle down and asks Kira for help. It turns out there was now a secret religion devoted to Kira. Light ended up becoming a "god" after all.

I wish they had used this stuff in the anime's ending. They kinda used Light's fate in the second live-action movie, though.

I just love the quirkiness of the series, mixed with the fact that it was the perfectly awkward blend of sci-fi, fantasy and old western.

Yeah, I remember hearing someone say it was a great combination of typical RPG fantasy elements and wild west. It's a good way to describe it.

I remember there were talks of a Wild Arms 2 remake way back in the same vain as Alter Code F, which I was fucking excited about because it's my second favorite game of all time.

Never came true though :(

Also XF wasn't THAT bad.

The dialogue and some of the characters were boringly cliche.

Also, Alter Code F is how Square should be doing their FFVII Remake. Keep the combat mostly the same, but with some improvements from the most recent games. (Not FFXV, obviously...)

And I loved some of the unique stuff WA came up with. Like in WA2, how it had a "search" system to look for locations on the overworld map. Or how when a random encounter occurs, you have the option to cancel it outright. That is an amazing feature. And how WA3 let you cancel character actions during turns. Like, you set what all 4 characters are going to do before everything happens, and if an enemy does something that changes up the situation, but a character has yet to make their action, you can cancel theirs before they do their thing, and have them do something else, instead. It's also kinda neat how every character had an ARM, and there was a whole ammo reload system whenever you defended. It gave the old "Defend" command a little more use. Oh, and sometime else I really loved from WA3 was that the creators decided to have the characters run around and stuff during combat. It was turn-based, but it wasn't where both the party and enemies were standing on opposite sides or anything, and returned to their designated position after attacking. They kept running around, to give it a more "natural" feel. I wish more turn-based games had done that.

You would think we'd get one on the PS3, but in the 6-7 years of its lifespan, that didn't happen. And now that we're on the PS4, there seems to be no sign or hope of another Wild ARMs game.

My only conclusion is that Wild ARMs XF was so bad, it killed the series completely.

One thing that always creeped me out in Kingdom Hearts is they say their visiting worlds yet they're all a bunch of empty streets, hallways and corridors with ounce of life in them at all outside the one or three disney characters that are there for the movie reenactment.

IIRC, there's at least one instance of someone saying that everyone is staying inside because of the Heartless. Maybe Traverse Town.

Wouldn't be surprised. That was back in KH1, when people actually tried.

Now look at Birth By Sleep, where they show a "crowd" in Olympus Coliseum cheering for Hercules, and the camera is looking directly at the empty seats.
