If they're there without my consent, in my property, IN MY HOME, then best believe that they're going to safekeep some of my slugs into their brain.

If there was a threat I'd probably give up more if it had a chance of taking my life. Just stuff man...

I wouldn't kill them to save my games.

I'd kill them because I believe my state's castle doctrine laws would allow it simply by them being in my home. Gotta read more into that but, if that's the case, then yes.

Unless it was a burglary or something where I needed to defend myself, no. That's not even an option. I don't have attachment to possessions like that and at the same time, I'd have to be a sociopath to even consider that to be a reasonable response. Attachment to possessions leading to murderous intent is... troubling to say the least.

And it's not right to kill someone over burglary and the law will punish you for it. Just like the previous poster said, at the very least you shoot them in the leg or have them at gun point. That's the more civil way of handling the matter, without fucking up your life.

Then the police take away the games they have already begun to steal as evidence and it will take a long time to get them back.

No, I'd simply kill them for breaking into my home. If they managed to somehow steal my games (they're all digital anymore so good luck?) Without breaking into my house I would not kill them.

I have a loaded shotgun with slugs in it in a safe at the end of the narrow hallway coming in my door and another locked upstairs in case they get in the door before I can get up and stop them. I basically have two choke points in my house where I can allow them to decide whether they want to flee and live or if they want to risk having chunks of their body blown off by slugs along with security cameras so I know exactly what they're doing if they are dumb enough to rush me.

I'm actually waiting on ups to drop off my strobe attachments for such an occasion because the local meth heads have been breaking into cars and stuff. Would be a shame if I had to kill one of my old school mates.
