Most people dont care. Phones with user replaceable batteries do exist, but dont sell as well as those without it.

Sealed phones dont prevent repair shops from being able to replace batteries.

User replaceable batteries are bulkier, which means reduced capacity for a given size. If someone doesnt care about being able to replace batteries, theyd be forced to buy what theyd consider an inferior product.

EU reason is for reducing e-waste. Problem is that someone replacing their battery at home is more likely to throw the battery into the trash than a reputable repair shop.

Europe passing dumbass laws is a thing to be expected though.

Pretty sure this law wouldnt actually be able to stop the federal government if they were doing that.

If you bothered to click the link and read the text of the article, you'd see that they requested the data of anyone who had viewed a legal Youtube video because they suspected a suspect in a criminal investigation had viewed the video. That's not a minor thing, and experts don't think it's constitutional either.

Is it some super obscure video? Cause anything that actually got views would be literally useless.

Correct-ish. Level scaling is on the other side of the of the coin in that it makes it so encounters are never pointless, but as you say it can make you not feel overpowered when you get to the parts where non-level scaled games would normally make you OP. However, as with all things it comes down to implementation rather than actually being an inherent thing. There is sort of a reason that the same couple of examples always come up as they were either really bad implementations of it (TES) or were too hard for the people complaining to use (FFVIII). In some ways it still goes against the core philosophy of what an RPG should do, but as the entire concept of an RPG has long since been dropped in favor of "big numbers + big loot" that is no longer really something that can really be held over it.

Any games where only bosses have level scaling and regular enemies dont, so you can still feel overpowered but cant become too strong for the big fights?

That sounds about what I was expecting. It looked like it would a solid C game.

If the venue uses ticketmaster, youve got to go through ticket master.

If the place uses eventbrite or whatever, you dont have to use Ticketmaster in the sense that an android phone doesnt have to use the apple App Store.

FF5 makes sense, only because it was imported to us first as a fan translation (<3 DeJ@p), so that localization was "canon" with Butz. Then we finally got FF5 for real as a PSX port, with a different translation for things, and so people had different baselines and adopting to the "new" or "proper" name is cumbersome.

FFT suffers similar with Algus (PSX) or Algath (PSP).

Thought it was Argath.

Anyways. Some people get way too attached to whatever the first translation they saw used.

it's even questionable if "vitamin infusing" foods does anything at all. you can't just mix a bunch of "vitamins" into a chocolate cake and live off that, otherwise that's exactly what everyone would be doing.

That is often done though. Flour tends to have certain vitamins added to it. And those do appear to get absorbed.
