Yesterday's match was never in doubt, and once Chrono Trigger hit double digits, it was set in stone. Donkey Kong Country 2 is still a fantastic platformer and deserves its flowers, but 1995 was Crono's year without question. Chrono Trigger takes home the crown after a 24-12 victory, capping off the most dominant run any champion has had in the 29 GotY tournaments I've done on here. Also note this is Square's first standalone championship win! Seiken Densetsu 3 defeated Panel de Pon 10-9 Seiken Densetsu 3 is the first Mana game to reach the Elite Eight.
