I saw part of a video of hers a few months back, and I thought she looked quite a bit different in the face from what I remember her looking like when I saw her on Funhaus (back when they still had Bruce, Lawrence, and Adam). IDK if she's had work done or I'm just misremembering what she looked like though.

The books aren't much better either. Melisandre's god does seem to be the only one with powers, everyone else's religion system/magic does fuck all

He has his own special language he speaks in, so maybe he did say something of consequence before in that language.

FF7 Rebirth, though that's the only 2024 game I've played aside from briefly playing Persona 3 Reload.

Edit: Forgot about Tekken 8 releasing this year. That's another game I put a decent amount of time into, though I'd probably still give it to FF7.

Baldur's Gate 3

It might have been close if you could freely switch between the Kongs at any time (outside of the bosses designed specifically for 1 of them), but because you can't its easily BK for me.

Donald is a vampire lord and the RNC is just a stockpile of cattle for him to feed on.

No DLC is disappointing, especially with (ending spoilers) Whithers teasing the possibility of it in the epilogue and Karlach's heart issue not being resolved (granted there would be problems implementing it since she could die or never join the party in the 1st place, but it still would have been nice to get a resolution to it through DLC)

Still, both Divinity OS 2 and BG3 are among my favorite games of all time, so I'll be looking forward to whatever Larian puts out next.

The 1st one was one of my favorite games of that era and it was one of the games I most wanted to have a sequel, so yeah I'm pretty excited. Won't be a day 1 buy though since I'm still going through FF7 Rebirth, and if the performance issues are as bad as some people say and they aren't fixed by the time I'm done, I'll have Persona 3 Reload to turn to while I wait for it to be fixed.

Sure. I still don't really know what the bug deal around them is aside from them helping work on Suicide Squad, but I don't think I can blame them for that abomination given it had far more issues than the writing.

Id love to know what the thought process was for making a ton of spin-offs on handheld consoles instead of just making high quality games every few years.

Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 are two of my favorite games, but the spin-offs are mostly not very good. Too gimmicky but not in a fun way.

That said, I did enjoy Kingdom Hearts 3 a lot and Im looking forward to more of course, but they gotta not do the spin-offs anymore. Just focus on good home console games.

I think the spin offs are fine. The problem was tying their stories into the overarching story, making people fhat stuck to the numbered games confused as to what was going on and who all these other characters wer. Especially when going from 2 to 3.

If you really stretch it, you could say RE5 kind of does this since it's basically a group of white people (Wesker, Excella, and Irving) taking advantage of a predominantly black community. But it doesn't really fit since the game doesn't point out everyone's race.

I loved pretty much all of the P4 crew. Except for him. So he gets a nay from me.

I guess I should say I haven't played Rebirth yet, since it seems a lot of the hate stems from it now. But I swear some people hated him in Remake too.

I didn't mind him that much in Remake. Until I played against him at Fort Condor in the Yuffie DLC. I've detested him since then.

2024, though the poll choice isn't accurate for me since I went through OG, Remake, and Crisis Core Reunion before playing Rebirth.

My 1st playthrough I tried beating her without any summons and died a bunch of times. I eventually caved and used the MT, then proceeded to beat her 1st try.

Mass Effect. Even with their flaws, I still loved 2 and 3, although I can't say the same for Andromeda.

damn, in the original game, from kalm to crossing the swamp is like an hour

I mean, Midgar took like 4 hours to get through in the original game and ended up being about 30-40 hours in Remake, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that they would expand on everything else.

Great gameplay, but the story is weak and most of the characters act like they came straight out of a generic anime.

Start charging you to enter the restrooms, to grab a shopping cart, and to use the dressing rooms if they have them.

Like 70% of my Naboo matches turned into me being the only one left with like 70 enemies left and having to wait in that circular area for them to start coming in so I could take them out lol.

What's so great about Arcanine anyway?
Is this a later gen gameplay thing or do people just like the design a lot?
I barely differentiate between the Vulpix/Ponyta/Growlithe lines.

It's nothing special competitively, though it had some use during certain periods in Doubles as an intimidator that could also use Will of Wisp (like early Gen 8 when Incineroar wasn't available). It's just my favorite design.

It matters in the sense that Jake is a much better boxer than Logan, and thus would actually have a chance at winning unlike Logan. I'd also consider Logan to be a bit shittier of a person since I haven't heard much about Jake the past few years outside of his boxing stuff whereas Logan has been involved in a few crypto scams.

Gold because Arcanine is my favorite Pokemon and I like Gligar alot more than any of the Silver exclusives (aside from Lugia but the gap between Lugia and Ho-Oh for me is a lot smaller than the gap between Gilgar and the rest).

Competitively speaking though, Silver is way better since Skarmory is probably the only one that's particularly good in competitive among the non-legendaries, and IIRC Lugia was better than Ho-Oh as well.

I'm glad my backlog of games prevented me from buying this.

I prefer black and purple. White and purple is probably my favorite color combination in general, but I don't really like the shade of purple that Gamefaqs uses alongside white.

I've never really done stuff like go to church or pray. As for believing in any particular religion anymore, that stopped when I was like 14 or so.

Unless it's the result of allergies. Then it just adds another layer of inconvenience on top of what is already there until the medicine you take for it finally kicks in (if it does as all).

I think the playable characters and some of the side characters were fine. The main characters (aside from Maya) and antagonists were annoying though.
