Stardew Valley is in my top 3 games ever made. Might even be my number 1.

The Final Fantasies are separate games, so they can be played out of order.
Mother... everybody played Earthbound on Snes without knowing about the first Mother back in the days.
Mega Man... the X series is a spinoff set in the future, well playable without the classic series.

Its not really about "story" per se, more about the evolution of the gameplay.

I intend on playing it but I want to start with the original first.

There's actually several Super Nintendo games I own, but have not fully played, because their series starts on the NES and I dont have one yet. Metroid, Zelda, Megaman, Mother, FF.

That's not what emulators are for. Emulation =/= piracy.

Now....... I can acknowledge that most people emulating are not dumping their own games. But..... people who own software, like a Nintendo switch game, are entitled to play it on whatever hardware/software can run it, not just a Nintendo switch. Emulation is not piracy.

Its legit no doubt. "Creamy" or whatever the fuck seems kind of nasty and unnatural by comparison once you start going crunchy

Stardew is one of the best games I've ever played, especially in multiplayer. It's extremely content rich and you can make it even bigger with mods.

It's 100% a reference. Mario 64 and Zelda 64 were the first two major releases they started developing for the console.

Eh controller support is janky. If there's that and other QoL improvements it could be worth it.

I'll explain my post. This game this topic is about has a special meaning. My sister and played the hell out it. My sister actually beat it. My memory is foggy, but you had to pick up weapons and items and move the correct rooms. Since there was no dialog in game to tell you were to go we had to figure it out for ourselves. There were no guides, internet or anything like that. We were obsessed. When we played outside we imagined we were playing the mini games. Mind you we were very young 6-9. It's a great game for the time.

This is the right answer. I'm probably 10-15 years younger than you at least, but I remember the times of recreating video game-games with my action figure playsets, or in make believe outside.

Years ago, around 2016 ish, I was stumbling upon entire forums where it was strictly AIs chatting with each other in odd manners. It was very likely going on for at least some years before that, and has no doubt become much, much worse since then. I completely subscribe to the theory.

Ledger was good but not the greatest ever like a lot of people claim. Nicholson was better than Ledger in my opinion.

The original question is kinda unfair as we didn't get to see much of Joaquin a The Joker, we got a taste here and there.

If you count screen time, we almost certainly got more of Joaquin as Joker than we did Heath. And I understand what you're saying, he didn't really become Joker till the end. But yeah, even then, we got more Joaquin joker.

As for Nicholson, and really Joaquin as well, Heath was playing a totally different style of Joker. Nicholson played a more classical, James Cagney 30s gangster style Joker.

Heath's, per what he and Nolan created, was a punk-anarcho-terrorist Joker. It was a completely fresh and energetic take on the character.

And yeah, out of Nolan's Batman movies, TDK is my least favorite otherwise because I find it visually boring compared to BB and TDKR which are visually stunning, and the plot drags for like 10 minutes in the middle, which doesn't seem like much once it picks up but when you're in it it feels like forever.

well to be honest I dont think thats true because my dad works for microsoft and after 360 the next console will be called "Xbox Now" and it will have voice commands so when you want to turn it on you shout "Xbox.... NOW"

A few months ago I had my phone in my pocket, I was by myself so obviously not talking. I pick up an object and then set it down. ((I know I can always look at the back but)) I type in "ingredients of" and it literally auto recommends the object I was looking at, down to the specific brand.

I think in 10 years we will come to learn that technology was a lot more capable than the public was lead to believe. I mean hell, the internet's been around since the 60s
