Forgive me if this was your point, but Shuri and the Pym crew were among the snapped.

I believe they were responding to the other poster who suggested reversing who got snapped. If Tony and Banner were snapped instead, Shuri and Pym crew are the only ones that could potentially figure the time travel stuff in their place.

I can't speak to the Tuesday timing thing, but the Fandango app should let you enter your Theater Rewards information into your account so that if you have an AMC or Regal rewards account, they are linked. You have to go into your Account settings to Theater Rewards, and then during checkout it should show up

Now to just this past week. I asked her to watch the kids for a few hours so we could go to a movie. Yes, no problem. The day of (via texts) we confirm the time to come over and she adds "Can (boyfriend) come too?". I told her as respectfully and tactfully as possible that we're not comfortable having him here with the kids while we're out since we barely know him (we've met maybe three times and exchanged brief conversation). I don't think she was expecting that and wanted to offer a different day. I said no, that's fine, if she can't make that happen we'll have someone else come out.

IMO you did nothing wrong and you are not the asshole. You are not obligated to accept strangers in your home so that your children can be watched. If you haven't reached that level of trust with this person yet around your kids while you aren't there, then you need to trust your parental instincts.

I'm bolding the above sentence because IMO it seems like you politely declined her watching them in favor of getting someone else. She is the one who felt guilty afterwards and felt upset about it.

It should probably be worked out, but as I see it, you were not out of line

(I am not a parent, so I realize that I can't view this through the lense of someone with kids)

I don't understand people complaining about having to "watch everything" when we live in an age of Youtube at our literal fingertips to recap everything you need to know for you.

I remember the movies from the 80s/90s until Iron Man when very little was connected within Superhero movies. I remember the feeling when realizing that they were going to start a connected universe, and how amazing it felt in the theater with the first Avengers movie. Some of y'all just take for granted how great some of these movies have been with characters that are now interacting because it's old news. I still think it's awesome they've accomplished what they want to accomplish.

People saying "I have to watch everything to understand the latest movie" are just wrong.

World looks better than SM3 All Stars IMO

But when it comes to playing SMB3, something always feels wrong to me when playing it over the OG SMB3. I didn't have All Stars on SNES so I'm obv biased toward the NES version

That's pretty messed up that everything shuts down literally the day you are telling your employees. And right before Christmas. Damn.

Those social media videos filming someone at the movie theater counter saying "which movie would you like to see?", and then it pans over to a group of people in full cosplay standing there, making it obvious which movie they are going for.

It was funny at first, I think I first saw it with the Super Mario movie, but just kept getting repeated for that movie + other movies beat for beat without any variations in the joke.

Like if you know you are copying something, at least add a twist to it. Like when it pans over and you're in full Mario gear, say how you are actually trying to watch Minions or something

What did she do wrong? I haven't followed this one that closely, was it the stuff with the guy she was in a relationship with?

I lost interest over time and kinda dropped off around when MJF lost the title. WWE got good as well, and I don't wanna commit to two promotions. The booking philosophy of AEW also isn't really for me, I'm not a sicko.

Japanese yam noodles. Just boil them for about 5 minutes, and throw them in some type of ramen or udon soup base but don't drink the soup. But require some type of asian grocery store though.

The yam noodles are something like 10 calories for 100 grams. Its basically solidified water. The texture isn't like a regular noodle though, its like a jelly noodle, but it is still firm and has a bite to it.

By the way, straight out of the bag, they smell fishy, but once you boil it that smell goes away. and they have zero flavor, they take on whatever flavor you cook them in, which is why you throw them in ramen soup base.

I'm cooking them tomorrow, making a japanese hot pot of beef, potatoes, yam noodles, and other veggies.

You might know the answer to a question I have. I want to make Ramen at home - not instant Ramen, but like a pot of Ramen. But I don't want to spend days making the Ramen base from scratch. Are there good brands of Ramen broth/bases in a jar that would be worth using? I live by several asian grocery stores, I just don't know really what to look for (I just moved here and haven't asked anyone at the stores yet).

There should be actually punishments for this rather than the only punishment of not getting voted for again.

The fact that there is no automatic mechanism for someone who switches to another party after the election is over for their victory to be cancelled or challenged, thereby duping the people that voted for them, is a perfect example of why this country was doomed to fail.

It is made up of too many "honor code" assumptions that allow the corrupt to abuse.

Would this affect FreeTaxUSA? I've been using that for the last few years virtually for free (I think state has to be paid or something for like 15-20)

Going from CT to CC makes me not want a third installment, unless it is to redeem as a more appropriate finale.

CC had some great things about it (the top tier OST, the beautiful sets + colors to name a few), but JFC the game is kind of boring to play and does not have the same charm that CT had IMO.
