It was pretty wild near the end of the series when they had the morphing cube and started getting random people to join in on the war and start morphing to fight theYeerks. I didn't get into the end of the series when I was a kid, but as an adult caught up on all the books and it was interesting to see how much changed after I stopped - basically a small band of unknown secretive morphing teens turning into an army of kids whose identities were known once the Yeerks discovered who they were.

When I finished Chrono Trigger I felt very relieved that I have completed it [laughs]. Before too long, I entered the Radical Dreamers project, with the idea of making an adventure game including thieves and the exploration of a mansion. I started writing without thinking about it too much and, when I was on the last stage, the doubt on how to conclude the story came up. It was then, for the first time, that I realized that that was the story of Schala and Magus [laughs].
Regarding Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, the truth is that I did imagine a final episode of the Chrono trilogy, later in time than Chrono Trigger, in which Kid and the others had to save Crono, Marle and Lucca. Something like an all-starts [laughs].

Ah, I do vaguely remember reading this. Thanks.

They did both, couple of human morphs and Cassie morphed a Yeerk once, but they don't like morphing sentient beings without prior permission.

So like half of the squad's Hork-Bajir morphs are Jara Hamee, because Jara Hamee is a free Hork-Bajir.

I remember Cassie being super conflicted when she was the Yeerk. Or maybe it was when she was controlled by one I don't remember

Top tier OST. As someone who grew up loving Trigger, there is a part of me that is compelled by certain aspects of returning to that "world", but overall, I did not like this game. It was kinda boring.

I remember trying to play the OG on PS. I think I probably started it 4-5 times and always stopped near the beginning because it was so dull. I somehow pushed through it years later and finished it. Then a few years back when the Remaster came out I replayed it, intending to do all the endings. I don't think I could get past the 2nd or 3rd NG+ ending because the game was just so fucking boring.

That battle system is so dull and unfun

HudGard posted...
Maybe not an excuse but the story outlines for the next game after Cross revolved around saving the original cast. So basically a callback to what Trigger did when Crono died but the saving happens a game entry later. Since that never happened were stuck with what we got and left hanging.

Is there a source for this? First time I've heard of it

I landed on the Samsung S90D OLED. Right now it's going for about $1500 at Best Buy. I'm going to price compare and see if I find it any cheaper, but expecting that will be the price I pay. I have a ton of credit card rewards I might use on this.

Thanks @archizzy @Mad-Dogg and everyone else for the help.

Yeah that was awful. The ref clearly saw the belt (in kayfabe) so why did he go to Jericho rather than grab the foreign object to remove it from the ring?

Jericho is washed up. I think he was ok the first few years of AEW but man what a drop off.

He's also a right winger who has donated to Trump, and his wife was at J6.

Then close to the end it changed to this.

"Here's the deal these days: they know exactly who we are. They know exactly where we live. We've got a few secrets left, and we're gonna use them. But just know that the end is coming. And we don't know how much longer we can do this. How much longer we can fight. What about you? Where will you be when it ends? Think about it. Think hard. Because the countdown has already begun...."

Yeah I liked this too. It was cool as a kid pretending that I was reading their journals and that they might actually be out there.

It was so long ago, but I just remembered that the Animorphs are the reason I have Jimmy Carter's autograph!

I would sometimes go to my mom's job after school to get a ride home with her, and there was a really small bookstore that always had the newest editions of the book (I swear they were just ordering them for me lol). So I would read them in the lobby or do my homework while I waited for her to finish for the day. People would pass by and I would always say hello to them. One day a guy stops and asks me what the book is about, so I happily explained a bit of the plot. He tells me that he really likes how I'm always polite and reading. Later on my mom tells me that her coworker Jack said that I'm a very nice young man, and that his dad used to be a US president (I'm Bermudian, but still thought that was cool).

A few months later my mom comes home and tells me Jimmy Carter stopped by her job, and Jack took him around to meet his coworkers. When he got to my mom, he introduced her as "the mom of the young man who is always reading that I told you about." My mom was so excited that after she shook his hand, she asked for an autograph signed out to me, which he happily gave her. She says her coworkers were jealous because no one else got an autograph lol.

Lol damn, that's pretty cool and so random!

Considering I just saw your last post about price and your budget everything I'm suggesting is going to be over budget. I talked about budget near the end of my post but went on the assumption you had an open budget since it wasn't originally stated.

The closest you would get to would have to be able to find a Samsung QN90D on a nice sale as it is currently about $1,500 for a 65 inch or to find a hell of a sale on an LG C4 in 65 inch. The others I mentioned will never approach your budget.

I'll take a look at these - I may be able to stretch budget a little bit depending on the price and quality.

I also don't necessarily need absolute best, so I can maybe start here and then backtrack with other lower priced ones

And there is a graphic novel series of them that started a few years ago. But at the rate that new volumes come out, I really can't see them reaching the end in a reasonable timeframe without skipping a ton of them.

Damn! Are they any good?

I only read two of them. The one with Tobias, the kid who got stuck as a hawk because he stayed transformed too long, and the direct follow up, but I barely remember the follow up.

Later on Tobias is given the ability to morph again and acquire his human form, but his permanent form still remained a Hawk. I thought that was a cool compromise

Looking at probably around 65" or so. Maybe a Sony or an LG.

Beyond that I don't know what I should be looking for between OLED, QLED, etc. I play PS5 here and there + Switch (LOL as if that matters), watch movies streaming on various services, etc. I like the idea of 4K but I don't live and die by it.

The exact probability that the moon will blow up depends on the details of the aliens eyesight and the specific pattern its looking for, but it seems like a low probability event. As for the expected wait time, it would depend on how small that probability is, but it could range from a few hundred thousand to millions of gummi bears, depending on ppp. The more uncertain the pattern is, the longer it might take before the moon blows up, on average.

I didn't love it or hate it, it was just ok.

My main gripes with it were the makeup and prosthetics. Specifically, BJ's eyes just looked like makeup around the eyes rather than a dark sunken face, and Dafoe's revealed skull didn't look realistic to me. So that took me out of it.

I also am not a big fan of choices made just so the audience can identify the familiarness, even when it doesn't make sense for the setting. The example I'll give is Lydia's hair. Her bizarre, jagged bangs from the first movie is the same exact hair style she keeps several decades later? I get it - some people only live in the past with their hair styles, but I thought if they had at least referenced her keeping that look specifically to support her psychic career, I wouldn't have had an issue with it.

Correct. They replaced the cameo bosses with the lunar eidolons from FF4DS and also cut about half of the final dungeon. And while it wasn't in the original game, they also cut the super boss from the PSP version.

Also the band system was changed so you had to grind for them instead of just using search for bands.

Is it worth going back to the OG TAY? I recall buying the first episode way back in the Wii days and never really gave it much of a chance, didn't play very far. Didn't even realize there was a 3D version on DS (that I just recently discovered I have on Steam for some reason)

No. Home Alone 2 Kevin knows exactly how to beat Home Alone Kevin, having once been Home Alone Kevin.

This, but I think it depends on venue. In either settings (Kevin's house or that relative's/NY house in HA2), HA2 Kevin takes it. HA2 Kevin has experienced the HA1 house situation, so on that ground he knows what to expect, is familiar with the territory, and knows what his past self did to avoid falling for any of those traps.

In the HA2 setting, HA2 Kevin is no worse than HA1 Kevin, and is actually better, because he has the experience of what he did in the HA1 house.

The only variable that could help HA1 Kevin IMO is if it is a territory neither of them have been in. But even still, HA2 Kevin has more experience than HA1 Kevin in working with random things to create boobie traps.

I wouldn't call them hastily writing an end to the character by sticking him on the Alien Ranger planet due to him walking off set because of bigotry from the crew "sort of" a proper exit. If we are ignoring behind the scenes details, The 3 OG that left for the peace conference got a better exit. If you're including behind the scenes stuff, Yost's exit was not good by any means and is right up there (and arguably worse) than why the other 3 left (he was right to leave obv)

I watched this a few weeks ago. I have a new outlook on ASJ over the last few years since the legal and Hitler stuff, sucks to see your heroes do shit like that. But knowing who he is as a person and watching him tell the story versus the way Walter tells the story, you can tell ASJ is still high and mighty about all of it while Walter is more controlled and probably mostly over what happened.

They weren't wrong to leave. As much as I would love to see the world where they stayed (including them in the MMPR movie, which is a movie that I fucking love even with it's faults), they shouldn't have had to put up with those conditions. Saban greedy as fuck.
