I am. You generally dont want to get pho from a place that sells things that arent pho. The best pho places dont sell anything else. However, good pho isnt hard to come by.

Pad Thai is less common here, but still readily available. I also go to Thailand fairly regularly.
oh, cool. 2 countries are like right next to each other, is it hard to go between countries, customs? They are similar kinda the 2 countries, like one is less restrictive on human rights ..etc... and stuff

He's not mean. But he is manipulative and selfish. He'll screw over anyone he can if it'll benefit him in some way.

His wife is the same way, except she is very mean. They make a good team for each other, what he can't get with polite manipulation, she takes by force and threats. And vice versa, if no one is willing to help her due to her bad attitude, he can generally pressure them to do so with less aggressive means.

I don't mind the job itself, but I don't get along well with these people.

God no. I'm far from the sharpest tool in the shed, but that guy is aggressively dumb.

One example, I left a note reminding them of something important. Something like "Hey, just a reminder to do _____ at noon today.
-Dustin"

So instead of doing it, they saved the note till the next day and gave it to me. Said it was left at the desk for me. I told them that I left it as a reminder for them, but they refused to believe it because it had my name on it.

Oh, he also believe there's a secret underground facility under the stock exchange in NY that's run by an advanced AI robot who secretly controls the world's billionaires.

Also, several different times he's told me that China will drop an MP3 on the USA. Yes, an MP3.

And the Illuminati and NWO have made our money obsolete, and is just waiting on physical money to die before implementing some kind of social score crypto currency, where a person's social value determines how much money they earn and that the working class is already negative score and we'll never survive once the stock market AI robot signals the Illuminati to implement the NWO to control us all.

Never been a cop. It has nuances though. Like whe you make a traffic stop you never know what you.are about to deal with.. in prison we know all these people (at least majority cause innocent people do get convicted) are criminals.

We at least know to assume everyone has bad intentions but we are locked in a building and outnumbered heavily by them.

So it's different. Cops are in danger cause they never know what to expect it could be grandma who wasn't paying attention to the speed limit or someone thats got a resaon ro run or attack.. it could be us dealing with known criminals and being outnumbered
Many are convicted murderers in there?

They were legal at one stage but after this psychotic madman Thomas Hamilton blew away 16 children and teachers in The Dunblane School Massacre the public petitioned furiously to get handguns banned!

Read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunblane_massacre

Even before that gun ownership was rare because we in The UK are smart and know other ways to solve our problems unlike trigger happy Yankee Land who thinks that solving problems come from the end of a gun barrel!

Currently out of a population of 67,000,000 people in The UK there are 3,600,000 civilian guns.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/gun-ownership-by-country

Oh and before anyone goes on about knives carrying a knife in public without a good reason is a serious serious offense here.
Forgot about that one in 96, so before it was easy to buy a handgun now pretty much impossible?

Apparently idk what their pay is but I heard a cop say he had been trying to get a correctional officer to switch over but he understood why he would cause he made more money at the prison.

As it is thr starting rate is problem 35k now it was 32 when I hired on but you get a raise every year up to your 6th year working there. Ontop of raises the state government approved which in my 4 years we got 2 or 3 2% raises.

I used to lean conservative because they tend to be nicer to us but our Democrat governor hasn't been that bad for us. So when he comes up for election I'll likely vote for him. The republican wanting to go against him seems like a real piece of work

Anyone under the age of 17 gets a get out of jail free card for commiting crimes, and if nypd actually arrests someone get they released after a day anyway. So why bother arresting anyone unless they actually murder someone?

NYC dug their own grave, and hard working New yorkers will die in it. The recent subway shooting is proof of that.
yeah heard that that most new yorkers think that in general ny is way to lax on lawbreakers , have heard similar things about sf area. So you ride the subway frequently and it is getting much worse in your opinion, is crime in general in nyc much worse? Have visited a bunch of times there.

$709. In store in Howell NJ, I was hoping to buy a used one for cheaper that I saw they had on their website but they didn't end up having it. It's better to buy in person IMO, online in NJ charges too many fees and many dealers rather not deal with the hassle of making stuff NJ-compliant.
