Honestly have to say yes just due to like, the ten million video games I've played

Would never own one or even shoot one though. Or even want to be around one.

interesting. Supposedly like most cops in the u.s. though have never discharged their firearm, on a related note, and certainly never discharged it on duty. Possibly most police stations have a gun range inside of it. I heard they do...etc...

There are more civilian guns in trigger happy Yankeeland than there are people.

390,000,000 civilian guns for a country with around 330,000,000 people!

Unlike the United Kingdom where we have one of the lowest rates on the planet as we in the UK where the government banned them have never given a flying fuck about them.

I totally hate guns and are glad the UK government banned them.

I live in a country with hardly any guns so maybe it's because it all feels like fantasy, but yeah I love the history behind the weapons in WW2 games and stuff

I have a pistol. Never shot with it nor ever bought ammo for it. Was meant to be a home-defense weapon. America's obsession with guns makes mine unappealing for me. I should learn how to use it just in case. Aside from taking it to ranges, it will never leave home.

I'm interested in the technology and laws, and I've gone shooting a few times, but I'm not interested in owning (except maybe as a historical artifact). My wife is a lawyer in the gun "space".

You really shouldnt own a firearm if you dont know how to safely, and effectively use it.

This. I took a hunters education course when I was about 11-12. Didnt do much hunting, but my family did. I was more interested in target practice. Did a lot for me in terms of trigger finger control, general discipline and safety. Its also kind of relaxing to clean my firearms, knowing how to take them apart and reassemble them.

They were legal at one stage but after this psychotic madman Thomas Hamilton blew away 16 children and teachers in The Dunblane School Massacre the public petitioned furiously to get handguns banned!

Read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunblane_massacre

Even before that gun ownership was rare because we in The UK are smart and know other ways to solve our problems unlike trigger happy Yankee Land who thinks that solving problems come from the end of a gun barrel!

Currently out of a population of 67,000,000 people in The UK there are 3,600,000 civilian guns.

Oh and before anyone goes on about knives carrying a knife in public without a good reason is a serious serious offense here.

Love my guns. Wish I could go out shooting more often then I am able to, but ammo is so expensive. I want to get back into loading again but all of my equipment is back in Virginia with my dad, would be hella expensive to ship it up here.

It really is so hard for you Americans to grasp the UK's laws and stance on private gun ownership.

In the UK it is virtually impossible to own a gun of any kind here.

Every time there has been some sort of mass shooting here in The UK the government has taken steps to prevent them occurring again.

We have some of the strictest gun controll laws in the world!

Here read these and you will see just what the law is on gun ownership here in the UK:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_shooting#United_Kingdom

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearms_regulation_in_the_United_Kingdom

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearms_Act_1968

So as you can see we have had gun controll laws here in the UK since 1968 and every time there has been a mass shooting the laws get amended.

Even before all that like I said the people of the UK just had no interest in guns. Unless you were going hunting we just saw no need to own one.
