Yeah he was talking about me. I'm indeed more stupid than the average person. The average person isn't even that stupid, I once grabbed a cactus plant for no reason.

I love my boss. But the constant grammar and spelling mistakes would say no. She barely made it through high school by her own admission.

what kind of work do you do though? you don't seem like a mean person though, imo not being really mean is a big plus , no matter how intelligent you are. This seems to be underrated by many people.

More knowledgeable about the industry? Yes. More capable in navigating office politics? For Sure.

More intelligent... super debatable, and if so only marginally.

Maybe, considering she's intelligent enough to force me to do the vast majority of her work and get paid for it while there's nothing I can do about that.

Next boss up: maybe. More educated, certainly, and more knowledgeable about the mechanisms and science employed by the industry.

Because I like literally every other person I work with and am hoping I can get reassigned after this season.

If I can't, then I will definitely be looking elsewhere.

boss = experience, or at least should be.

God no. I'm far from the sharpest tool in the shed, but that guy is aggressively dumb.

One example, I left a note reminding them of something important. Something like "Hey, just a reminder to do _____ at noon today.
-Dustin"

So instead of doing it, they saved the note till the next day and gave it to me. Said it was left at the desk for me. I told them that I left it as a reminder for them, but they refused to believe it because it had my name on it.

Oh, he also believe there's a secret underground facility under the stock exchange in NY that's run by an advanced AI robot who secretly controls the world's billionaires.

Also, several different times he's told me that China will drop an MP3 on the USA. Yes, an MP3.

And the Illuminati and NWO have made our money obsolete, and is just waiting on physical money to die before implementing some kind of social score crypto currency, where a person's social value determines how much money they earn and that the working class is already negative score and we'll never survive once the stock market AI robot signals the Illuminati to implement the NWO to control us all.

One of them is about even with me. The other is a nationally renowned doctor in her field and leagues above me. Thankfully, she's pretty awkward. So she's not intimidating.

He's not mean. But he is manipulative and selfish. He'll screw over anyone he can if it'll benefit him in some way.

His wife is the same way, except she is very mean. They make a good team for each other, what he can't get with polite manipulation, she takes by force and threats. And vice versa, if no one is willing to help her due to her bad attitude, he can generally pressure them to do so with less aggressive means.

I don't mind the job itself, but I don't get along well with these people.

I've got another business going right now, but it's not earning enough to help. I'm basically working the hotel job just to keep that one up. If it ever starts earning enough to to match what I make at the hotel I'm quitting. But as of right now I'm not in a position to quit without having another job lined up, and if I'm going to be working a job I'd rather just stay put.

Idk about overall intelligence but hes at least fairly sharp so possibly. As for industry experience he is like twice my age with about as much experience in IT as I have time on this planet so yeah he kind of knows more than my 4 years of experience in the field.

Hes chill af though we all smoke joints in the parking lot after our quarterly meetings.

My boss is incredibly intelligent - much more so than I am. I consider myself very fortunate, in this regard. Ive learned a ton from him.

Still, he frustrates the hell out of me, from time to time. Thats just life.

No. Mine is an idiot. Only has the position he has because of nepotism. He's totally unqualified to work here and a lot of the issues that crop up are directly related to him. Last Thursday we had to stop everything we were doing and sanitize a clean room because he went into it with no ppe and proceeded to touch shit with his dirty fucking hands.

Id say shes probably about the same level of intelligence, just further along her career path than me. Shes more qualified than me though. I havent finished my PhD yet.
