The new maps weren't very different from what we have now. Very subtle tweaks upstate. Maybe 1 newly competitive seat. Locks down a few seats for both parties. I thought they had a chance in the legislature. This is the 2nd time in a row we've rejected our independent redistricting commission.

Not sure what emerges from this chaos. Another Hochulmander? Yet another court-appointed special master? Not sure at this point. But I like chaos. I like new and exciting shapes.

The point is that it won't even beat Android handhelds from even 2 or 3 years ago.

I'm not comparing it to x86 handhelds as the Switch 2 is targeting a lower price point.

I'd say the bar for a 5-alarm fire would be 20% Uncommitted with Phillips at 5%. Counterpoint: Nobody seemed to care about Phillips getting 20% in NH and theoretically winning delegates.

Michigan is interesting. You choose your ballot. Anyone can crossover.

[SCENE START]
EXT. FLAVORTOWN RUINS - DAY
A wasteland of rusted fryers and toppled condiment bottles stretches to the horizon. Dried-up rivers of nacho cheese wind through the bleak landscape. GUY FIERI, his once vibrant hair now dusty and matted, emerges from a bunker.
GUY: (Coughs, voice raspy) I'm smelling something...not funky...not fresh...but dangerous. Gotta find a pocket of that sweet, breathable air.
He dons a makeshift gasmask an inverted deep fryer with a tattered Hawaiian shirt as a filter. A single, precious bottle of Donkey Sauce dangles from his belt.
INT. ABANDONED DINER - DAY
An overturned "Welcome to Flavortown" sign hangs askew. Guy cautiously enters.
GUY: This is outta bounds...the last time I was here, the burgers were outta SIGHT. But now...
A mutated, monstrous RAT, its eyes like glowing hot sauce packets, skitters across the floor.
GUY: Whoa, Nelly! Time for Plan B!
He whips out the Donkey Sauce bottle, using it like a flamethrower. The rat hisses and retreats.
EXT. FLAVORTOWN OUTSKIRTS - DUSK
The sky is an ominous shade of burnt mac-and-cheese orange. Guy stumbles upon a mangled billboard. He squints.
GUY: "Diners, Drive-ins...and Dives?" Nah...that ain't right. More like Diners, Drive-outs... and Don't Even Think About Divin' In For a Second.
His stomach growls. He wistfully eyes the Donkey Sauce bottle.
GUY: (Whispers) Soon, old friend. Soon.
He trudges on, silhouetted against the toxic sunset.
FADE OUT

ChatGPT: GPT4
Gemini: Ultra 1.0

I've been using both for ideas to automate my workflows and random shower thoughts. ChatGPT is a lot slower and still has a GPT4 daily limit for paying customers. Ignoring that, both ChatGPT and Gemini give excellent answers. ChatGPT has much better image generation through DALL-E 3 and Google just yanked their Imagen 2 image generation. Imagen cannot draw historically accurate races or anime, it's an utter failure. Interestingly, Microsoft CoPilot or Bing Create, whatever it's called now, is more willing to generate copyrighted characters (i.e. Elsa memes). Gemini is a continuously updated model and I don't ever have to worry about how old the training or dataset is. It's also an entire extension of my Google ecosystem.

Unless OpenAI has something transformative for GPT 4.5/5 or truly figured out AGI, I think they're toast.

1.5% is peanuts. Its not enough to change behavior. On 100K thats only $1500 back.

I do agree with interest and purchase protections though.
At least 1.5% for non category spend. 3% for dining is also essential. And then 3 to 5% for gas, groceries, rotating categories, portal travel, etc. Maybe 10% for rental cars if you like full price booking.

So many people don't want their money to work for them. It's upsetting.

You should be making 5% interest on your cash and at least 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

You're not doing that without credit cards or cash management accounts. Your money won't grow in a bank and your debit card has no protections if you ever get fucked by a purchase.

Russia's foreign policy bible denies Ukrainian identity and sovereignty. When you pair that with the utter joy that Russians are going through as they whittle away at Ukraine frontline villages and launch waves of missiles, you're getting into genocide territory.

But some random group of militia types in Idaho get the same protections while terrorizing society? That doesn't sound right. Yet at the same time, individual gun rights and collective gun rights don't seem separable.
