I've finished the story. It was pretty good! I'm definitely starting to warm up to Amphoreus. The pacing is kind of a double-edged sword: 3.0 was a bit bland due to having to set everything up, there are definitely still parts that drag or feel like filler (looking at you, Past Janusopolis straight up reusing a map), but the story having time to breathe compared to Penacony is just better. There are pros and cons, I think the game is overplaying its hand a bit with some of the "twist" foreshadowing, but this is still preferable to shit happening out of nowhere like in 2.2.

The character writing has also improved imo, and I don't think this is stockholm syndrome from being forced to spend time with them (and me pulling Aglaea lol). Aglaea and Phainon's motivations start to make more sense. Anaxa is cool and just a fun type of character to drop into an epic fantasy setting. My expectations for Tribbie were really low but they even got some interesting things. Mydei...I am honestly shocked at how good his character writing is for how one-dimensional he was in 3.0. Easily my new favorite of the cast. Shame about that kit, dude.

People think the "The world was never fair to begin with!" line is Lycaon's. It...doesn't sound much like him, though...but he is delivering it angrily which is atypical. Here's hoping the VA wasn't replaced.

Ok "red = fire" was kind of a weird little joke about Mydei but...there are so many fire-based sayings and motifs around his actual storyline in this patch that now I am 100% convinced he was supposed to be Fire Destruction but was changed to not overlap with Firefly.

The second layer of tinfoil is if Aglaea was originally Imaginary and had to be changed because of that!

I'm going to do with Tribbie the same thing I've done with every limited Harmony in this game besides Ruan Mei: ez skip then later go "damn I should have pulled that support" and get them on the rerun. Sunday is on dock for that atm.

That monofire team should be just fine against fire weak stuff like the dog. I have a pretty similar build to you and I could clear with that in a little under 2 minutes, with room for improvement. Some notes are you probably want Burnice on ATK% disk 6 on that team, Lucy also wants to be on Astral Voice since you don't stun or ult with her often.

Other teams you could do are Nicole/Lucy, put Nicole's defense debuff up before you do Eve's chains. One of the supports on Astral and the other on Swing Jazz. If you want to stun, Caesar is good and Koleda is fine if you have either of them.

I don't think so, her buffs are probably good but all of Tribbie's damage is AOE based

I'm biased but tbh Tribbie seems very replaceable EXCEPT she does so much follow-up attack spam which is really really good with current aoe and mechanics like Titan's shield vs other supports

But I can't really tell, the verdict seems to be out about her BiS. It looks like Sunday, Tribbie, and RMC are all very strong for her but only Tribbie has no downsides. Sunday is very powerful but is kinda awkward with her HP drain. RMC helps charging her dragon faster because she drains Mem's HP.

Everyone is pretty much agreed the Remembrance healers will end up being her BiS healers over anyone we have now. I would not be surprised if her final BiS supports are Tribbie + whoever ends up as the RMC replacement months from now.

Juiciest piece of unexpected info to come out so far from the preload is apparently Basic Attack traces will now go up to level 10, and it is retroactive to old characters.

Automatic buff for everyone who scales off Basic Attack, but we'll need to see the final numbers to know how much.

I'm a little skeptical it's as good as it sounds like since people are also pointing out there's already extra scaling past 6 in the files that just doesn't get implemented (Genshin does this too).

Got to level 50 of the new Battle Tower. The buffs make things a little quicker with the energy or decibel restore. I feel like M1 Astra has inadvertently powercrept Caesar here with both her faster ultimates for more healing and a one-hit shield. Or I guess I can run both and be unkillable, I'll need it when attack indicators turn off after floor 50.

Yeah Harumasa is both much harder to play and has less payoff which sucks but oh well. I'd say Eve is more difficult than Miyabi but much closer to her execution level than Haru's.

Barely scraping by with him here, Qingyi is half built but she's also surprisingly difficult to get used to in these hyper aggressive DA fights.

She's tricky? There's a bit of a learning curve and her resource management is kind of a pain. Prydwen hit her with the "expert" tag like Harumasa and I don't think she's THAT bad but it's definitely more complicated than usual

This video really helped me get a grasp on her combos. There's some fancy animation canceling in some but I don't think that's needed. Biggest thing is you can swap during her charge attacks like Miyabi.

No I mean, counting Eve's special charge attacks as chains, the total of those plus the normal ones you get from stun.

So your basic stun combo with her on full meter when you stun is 4 chains. Two from her meter + ult, and two from giving her two of the three normal chain attacks. Astra ult adds #5, you can do the 6th one out of stun.

With Eve/Lighter/Astra I managed a cool 35k and that's not a clean run. I can't imagine Lighter adds 15k over Caesar or Koleda.

Are you getting 4/5 chains per stun? That's still doable without Lighter. Honestly most of my stuns with Lighter were 4 chains because I was dropping them on the floor, the biggest thing he does is make up for skill issue lol

TBH Adult Tribbie looks like a pretty generic hoyo girl, might as well be Castorice with a palette swap. Even though I'm a Tribbie hater it's probably better overall for them to have more variety in character design, even if it's not for me.

Ok hit Synchronicity level 100 in Human Comedy. Actually wasn't too bad, I got a bunch of extra levels from doing up to Protocol 6 and then normal runs are 2.5 levels each and don't take very long with the new grinding option.

I brought Aglaea in which was really fun. Every character can be broken in SU but she was particularly crazy with all the Hunt auto-advance and Propagation basic attack boons (which I've never had a character that could actually use). I'm looking forward to how wacky things get with Paths actually made for her!

The slow quantum set is for Jade, Tribbie, Castorice...and Clara, apparently, just for the crit rate.

The new set (golden one) and banana planars were definitely made specifically for her

What I did is get as much speed and crit as you possibly can. Focus on crit rate because she gets so much crit damage from relics and HMC/robin. Atk% isn't great on her. And the one weird thing is she wants ER rope assuming no E1.

Fuck I didn't realize Castorice's Quantum set is also new BiS for Jade. Good thing I'm in these mines already but I probably trashed some ok atk pieces already.

For Evelyn? No, don't use 2pc x 3 for your final build. It's fine when you're trying to put stuff together, but generally any 4pc bonus is better than a 2pc. For Evelyn that's gonna be Woodpecker or Hormone Punk and then 2 of whatever you want that has the best substats.

For engines, Mercato and Starlight Engine W5 are pretty similar on her. Mercato is waaaay easier to build due to the crit rate though, and if you do use Starlight you have to actually remember to do quick assists on her to activate its buff.

Using AI to "simulate" older games instead of just emulating is WILD. I cannot fucking imagine why anyone would think this is a good idea.

A while ago a (much smaller) version of this went viral that did this with Minecraft. There was zero consistency to the game world or inventory because it didn't have memory, it was just simulating what the screen should look like based on footage from Minecraft gameplay videos or whatever. Sort of neat conceptually, but awful to actually engage with as a video game.

I see Microsoft says theirs is "consistent over several minutes." You know what gives consistent gameplay over 100% of the minutes? The actual fucking game.
