The question is what I do with the remaining 2500 pulls. I think the smart thing to do is to get a bunch of limited supports/sustains to E2S1, and I would basically be able to use whoever the fuck I want with that much power.

one day I'll play someone other than Miyabi for my weekly Hollow Zero run, but only when they add special gear for an agent I actually play

I used Xiangling/Fischl/Chevreuse for the Arlecchino side, but also yeah double hydro + shielder usually serves me well

Suanni might be a bit of an issue though, that guy has 70% hydro resist so Yelan and XQ will do basically no damage. Diona will let you actually freeze it though, I had to run away during that part to not die and kill during the anemo ult lol.

Also finished Ridu's Got Boo. Again, it's another event with a lot of potential, but is completely undercooked. There's wasn't a single stage that was fun of challenging. Wasn't as much of a chore to complete as Arpeggio Fault, but still disappointing.

Yeah I'm done with the event and I think I agree with this? The story is just an excuse to have the characters goof off, which is fine, maybe even needed for the game's cast. Bangboo fall guys is actually kinda fun in small doses, I got the polychromes so I'll just do dailies for the rest. But the dance-off minigame, holy shit, everything about it from the costume unlocks to the game itself is so fucking tedious.

Not sure! There are normal NPCs around with elf ears, and it makes more sense to me that they're just elves rather than vampires being that common. But there is barely any lore about the other fantasy races so idk.

But as seen in hit video game Baldur's Gate 3, elves and vampires are usually separate but you can be both. Elf Vampires are so hot right now.

I really hope they come out with a second Natlan artifact set for supports. After getting Ororon I realized it was kind of awkward running him with Xilonen because Scroll doesn't stack, it's even worse now with Citlali. And you do get benefits from running multiple Natlan characters together sometimes because of Nightsoul Burst, so it's odd. Kinda crazy we still don't have new artifacts yet, we usually get those in x.3.

Generally in that comp you have Citlali on Scroll and Xilonen on Archaic Petra, but you can do Tenacity on Citlali instead if you want a little better shield

Yeah, that makes sense. I say she's weak but I definitely don't build mine for shielding besides running EM artifacts. She's on scroll and I have her using TTDS to buff my pyro dps. You CAN use TotM on her if you want to boost her shield strength and have someone like Xilonen to use Scroll.

honestly even just this unfinished bit is sick as hell, the suitcase trick weapon is an inspired weapon choice, up there with Evelyn's strings

Two things, 1) I think Citlali's shield just isn't very good, at least not compared to Zhongli, maybe even Layla. 2) Natlan bosses have some crazy nuke damage? I have this issue with the cryo spiritspeaker boss this abyss but in the overworld too, part of her is if you use Bennett I think she can Melt you

Some pretty good looking AOE on SAnby's attacks too. Not quite Miyabi level but maybe bigger than Evelyn's, who also isn't bad. Feels like this second wave of Attack units is built different.

Pulchra being a semi-acceptable substitute for Trigger will make this SO MUCH easier for me. Go for 50/50 on Eve, then lock in Anby and get comfortably ready for whatever 1.6 brings, easy!

Thing is I was 100% locked in to Evelyn. Now I'm at like...80%. If I get Evelyn I don't think I can risk going for Qingyi AND get SAnby and Vivian. I NEED ether anomaly though, I don't have an ether dps, and goth elf girl is a high tier outcome (and honestly, I'd accept Vlad too!) because I do not care about the idols

Yeah, this might be the hardest DA mode yet? I struggled on the last two because I needed to adjust to building three teams and get used to how the mode worked. Also, Bringer is free with Miyabi, DEB2 is not as much: he WILL just kill you or dodge your hits if you aren't careful.

Miyabi and skill issue aside I feel like these point totals are screwy compared to previous cycles. I'm pretty sure I got way higher on Pompey with Burnice/Piper the first time around, and that time I was using Rina. Hell, I definitely got a higher score against last cycle Butcher with the Caesar comp than against Pompey here, but the matchup should be way better!

I am so fucking bad at fighting Unknown Corruption Complex. The only character I use that uses his mats is Grace, so legitimately I probably haven't fought this thing since 1.0 or 1.1.

Annoyingly still under the buff cap even with Bashful Demon, but it's like 20-40 attack on the buff so close enough! I'm on 2pc ER with ER disk 6 so she'd simply need one or two more attack rolls, but that is suffering and I'm pretty sure the ER is worth it.

next on the list: two s-rank electric defense agents to go with the soon to be released two s-rank electric supports

My plan was to use Weeping Cradle on Astra for the damage buff and also the passive giving extra off-field energy regen.

I am now learning that passive doesn't proc on her, because while singing she is considered to be on the field.

Well, guess I'm leveling Bashful Demon and redoing her discs! I was 200 atk under her buff max with that build anyways.

Pulchra being A rank stun is fantastic for shoring up A rank gaps. If we could get an A rank Ether anomaly (fire or elec would work too but not as good) then we'd actually be in a pretty decent place with A ranks since at least then all the major team types would be feasible through A ranks alone. (Right now Piper doesn't have a partner to pop disorders for)

Surely Ether Anomaly is too highly demanded for them to put at A. My honest fear is that Anomaly as a mechanic is so busted they'll avoid releasing good A-ranks for it. Jane Doe is a massive cover-up to distract people from the fact that Piper is insanely good and on-par with the weaker S-ranks.

Though, the most hilarious thing they could do is release an A-rank Ice Anomaly. Hypothetically, it would just be a worse Miyabi, but would actually be really good in teams with: Miyabi!

Yeah Astra's whole thing is that she basically removes herself from the team and turns your remaining two agents into a godly duo so that first story section probably isn't the best showcase for either of the newcomers.

Played the first day of combat event where you can play as Evelyn. Can't say I really understand her yet, but she sure looks cool!

I tried to figure her out during the story sequence where you have both her and Astra. I sure was pressing buttons to make strings appear, and that's all I can say for sure!

I guess it doesn't help that Astra just doesn't work with only two agents...?

I played Astra in the trial and she feels kinda strange.

She is definitely weird and will take some getting used to with how she changes how your swaps work. There's this quirk where since her assists usually just cycle you between the other two characters, to get back to her you need to double tap character swap. But I'm used to using previous swap to get back to my support, this gets bypassed by QA so I keep doing shit like accidentally quick assisting to Anby and using her ult on stunned enemies. <_<

People are assuming that because there was a previous leak Vlad was 1.7 and Ice Attack, but leakers have been so unreliable for this game I don't necessarily buy either being true.

Everything is pointing to it being these two, but role and element confirmations would be nice!

The breakpoint on the Ellen skin price is pretty diabolical too. Still 4x monthly pass, or $15 of monochrome unless you do the $5 top-up + $5 normal. So only $5 discount usually, given most people buy these with the monthly pass.

what these games do show is that lttp's overworld is well designed, I just think there is a failure to put many interesting things in it compared to later games. for the most part it's just a big dungeon.

There's a strange crystal that appears in the apartment in the city right after you unlock Mem and the book. It's really hard to miss so you probably picked them up and forgot about it. But I just checked and they've respawned today.

You can't, the new hangouts in 1.4 only have quality time. But you can still use one of your daily agent invites on them from the phone menu, it just gives you a one-time event.

Soukaku does still show up around town though, maybe you've been unlucky.

they are so afraid of leaning into having an unlikable female character, man, it creates this completely incomprehensible characterization. when she ties up the trailblazer and dan heng and threatens to execute them on the spot I was like FINALLY we are doing something interesting. then eventually you get her POV and they walk it back with actually it was all an elaborate test for Castorice and I never planned on executing them at all. so now she just occupies this extremely stupid spot where the characters don't trust her but the player has no reason to care? this is like the reverse of what they did with Ruan Mei

Well I finished the 3.0 story. Nothing crazy but pretty solid! It's less interesting than Penacony but there's also less awkward fumbling, and the cliffhanger is way less abrupt. I kind of get people who are fed up with the game's storytelling in this update, but tbh it's always been like this so it's nothing new...

Also, the thing that's happening here is after remaking the world the Chrysos Heirs will eventually become mad titans and start the cycle again, right? Amphoreus being shaped like a moebius strip feels like a pretty big tell. I guess the mystery is why it's set up this way. Maybe the third path on the planet is Permenance with the reincarnation focus and Dan Heng being a big focus?

Caesar's been excellent and normally I wouldn't think twice about pulling her instead of Qingyi but Harumasa is the first Attack agent where Caesar doesn't work to fill in as stunner because he wants Stun or Anomaly. I guess if you run some weird comp like with Yanagi or Burnice or something. I don't have Zhu Yuan so it makes my pull plan really awkward, if you do I think Qingyi vs Caesar becomes a real debate.

There's future stunners but I honestly doubt he gets better than Qingyi since 1) they're both electric so you use both against weakness and 2) buffing his stun damage multiplier is exactly what he wants
