I think an Aglaea and Castorice side. There's a memosprite buff and a dot buff, and Aglaea should be able to blast down adds and break the boss with enough action advance...

Surprisingly my Dr Ratio/Topaz team is able to handle side 2 with enough av left, though on my actual 3* clear where I used Cas first side, I got a lower score by like 200. Weird.

Yeah 2pc speed + 2 pc speed. You can do 4pc of the Aglaea set but its not really worth it. And then yeah either any of the ERR planars or Keel depending on what you have or want.

You can run Aglaea with RMC and Tingyun as her F2P options but fact of the matter is she will lose uptime unless you have her E1 or Sunday. I even have Huohuo and thats not enough, so.

You really should build Remembrance Trailblazer, at this point they are pretty inarguably one of the top 3 best supports in the game

It's a little funny because Anby's engine still has more base attack than this and the same impact. This does have an actual passive but because it's purely defensive it is still, arguably, a sidegrade.

People are sooo paranoid it's another Firefly situation I'd kind of be amazed if MHY did it again on purpose lol. I'm honestly not too worried about lack of male characters overall, it's the China expansion and Hoyo loves to have their one (1) tall Chinese man who inexplicably never stops being relevant.

They've slow-rolled every male S-rank in the game but they've all delivered so SOMEONE on the dev team cares, I just don't expect them to increase the rate or hype them up for sales reasons.

This hit Genshin last patch and I saw plenty of people express shock at seeing the actual money values displayed so. Maybe? Probably not by a lot but its always been clear most spenders are not paying attention to money value per pull and gachas are built around that. Still too soon to say, Genshin is in a slow period anyways and so is this game compared to 3.2 and what 3.4 will have.

I took the team for a spin in PF, Kafka side, and went from barely cracking 30k with Gallagher and having to sweat his ult timings to ez 37k. I don't have her traces maxed or 4pc of the new set so, pretty solid improvement!

Ica taking out waves while you're still charging up the dragon is very funny

He heals when your team hits enemies with his Besotted debuff and Tribbie does a ton of FUAs, so between 2-3 support ults that's a free extra 24-36% newbud charge.

I'm using E1 Ruan Mei who is a really strong buffer but does not synergize with Gallagher at all

Realized that one thing I was missing about Castorice is that Gallagher gets so highly recommended specifically because his interaction with Tribbie is broken and I, uh, don't have Tribbie. That makes Hyacine a bigger upgrade than usual for me. So I decided to just go for it. Took 70 pulls but won 50/50 and the fat fuck is mine! See ya later, Gallaghator!

Now the real question: do I hope my luck holds and go for THerta too...

I think with her LC she probably is? She gets a lot better for a lot of teams with any vertical. I don't know the details but I saw a lot of people complaining about her not doing enough for Mydei at E0S0.

Yeah lol. I think the consensus is that she's sorta generically the strongest sustain, but she's only BIS for Cas and Blade atm because most teams have better niche options.

I'm going into the patch with 280 pulls...I might throw a pity Hyacine's way but I'm still deciding between her, THerta, and E1 Aglaea for this patch. I already have two limited sustains (Huohuo and Aventurine) but I have to use Gallagher with Castorice and I'm getting a little sick of his weaknesses in ST and multiwave situations. Tough call on which team to upgrade, but maybe I can get lucky and snag 2 and still save enough for Sunday rerun, idk.

Caught up on the story. I didn't hate it, but it does feel like a step down in storytelling quality? Which is odd since I think 1.6 was the high point for that so far. I have to assume (or maybe just hope) it's because a large portion of resources was already shifted to 2.0.

Like, I still love all of Hugo's stuff but it wraps up pretty abruptly. Vivian, though...her arc really suffers from being broken up over two patches and told in a really weird order. And also, Yixuan is here for no reason.

If they're even willing to recast main characters it probably means Dan Heng recast is gonna be soon too, especially as he gets more involved in the main story. Ugh, and come to think of it, Kafka and the rest of the Stellaron Hunters are all muted too and might get switched with the buff rollouts. This is gonna suck.

That's not unsubstantiated, it was in the actual banner announcement that it's a separate pity track than the character banner.

I don't think ZZZ has a relic scorer yet? The Hoyolab app (can't find it on browser weirdly) does have a page where it'll count your good substats and give you a rating, you can also just do this yourself in-game or via your enka profile.

Unlike Genshin and HSR, substats in this game are standardized, they are always the same value on level up instead of having multiple options, which is probably why there's not a real scorer yet. Going by pure number of substats is good enough.

I think the worst designed enemies in the game because of their time waster ult. It's pretty close between them and the jumpy robot for my most disliked. Bringer is pretty bad too but I have the instawin character for that fight.

Hugo is sooooo fun to play against Marionettes. They get the absolute shit kicked out of them by constant stuns. And I'm always glad to see Harumasa's punching bag in the rotation.

Fun fact about me is all my DOT units are still on Space Sealing Station because with how much of a pain planar farming used to be, I just never got anything better than the best leftovers I had from release farming, and there was never a dedicated set to farm for them. Finally, I can set them free.

Maybe I'm alone in thinking eps 1-3 were better than 4-6 but maybe that's because I could watch an entire show just about Mon Mothma's political and family drama. Not to mention dinner with Mama Karn. It was for sure dragged down by Andor's parts but the rest was quality.

Ah the ratings I saw were from a french website compiling data from about the midpoint of the season and it was still well below Ahsoka and on par with Skeleton Crew and Acolyte. Maybe things have improved!

A New Republic show from the same crew would be great. Though I hope Cassians child stays out of it. As it happens Beau Willimon who wrote season 1 episodes 8-10 and season 2 episodes 4-6 is writing the Dawn of the Jedi movie with James Mangold so that is something at least.

I doubt we'll get it, both because 1) if Gilroy and the crew were on board we probably could have just gotten more seasons of Andor and 2) this show has apparently not been doing well in the ratings despite once again receiving rave critical reviews.

We definitely need the New Republic-era political show to flesh out the gaps like Clone Wars and Andor do for the prequels and OT, I'm just skeptical it'll happen. Certainly, Dave Filoni either isn't interested or can't do it, at least not without help like he had with Lucas on Clone Wars. Hopefully some of the other talented writers and directors stick around even in the event Gilroy bails.

The double stun playstyle is pretty fun but also very hard to get used to! Gotta be really precise with parrie and meter management. Also realizing I need to actually build my Lycaon because I was basically used him as a parry/e bot quickswap and I think he actually wants to be the one on field in this team so I have to level his skills and stuff. At least we get new stunner disks in 2.0.

Yeah, I think Episode 10 tops 8/9 for me too. The way I didn't realize Kleya was there to kill Luthen until she's practically all the way there, even though the episode is basically screaming it at you...masterful. I didn't want to consider it!

Honestly I was skeptical they'd stick the landing with how boxed in they were by R1, but they did it. Most negative thing I can say is I wish we had a season or two more with these characters.

Ok...lost the 50/50 at pity to M2 S11 (god dammit) but then got Hugo 20 pulls later so could have been worse!

Have like 20 pulls plus 2600 residual left so...I should still be able to get Yi Xuan if I want but will probably have to skip her engine.

I think Lighter is worth it if you use at least two out of Evelyn/S11 and Ellen/Hugo. He's just so much better than their other stun options. Ju Fufu is in 2.0 and is Fire Stun so there's some concern he might get powercrept out of those teams but........it won't. She is however reasonably close and looks to be a better generalist than Qingyi and Trigger so there's that to consider. She will also be best for Yi Xuan of course which is the other big reason to be banking pulls for 2.0.

True damage being a whole new multiplier seems to do that, yeah. Plus AA is always good even if it's unreliable

I was actually able to full clear MOC 12 this time in 9 cycles, though I used Castorice side 2 because I still have no one who can deal with banana, and without THerta the elite wave takes for fucking ever for Jade to kill. Side 1 I managed in 6 cycles with a bad Aglaea team using Bronya that kept dropping ult stance and didn't benefit from the blessing. Maybe I'd get better results with Tingyun or having her on side 2, idk. Imagine what she could do if I actually had Sunday, it'd be over for these fools

I agree with this, but I will say I really liked that in-universe it was Anaxa who figured it out and not any of the people from outside who you'd think would have more insight to this. I've been assuming nothing like this would be known to the characters until the rest of Team Astral Express got an inside look at Amphoreus.

It would be very funny if when Herta finally gets in she takes one look around and immediately deduces what's going on so if that happens I'll forgive the writing

I also did appreciate Dan Heng is actually very close to figuring things out but is either too far removed from the plot or dealing with action. But when you can go through his inner monlogue recap he notes a lot of things don't add up to him

I also thought it was solid! Not as good as 3.1 ofc but still liked it well enough. The Council of Elders stuff doesn't really go anywhere big but I enjoy political squabbling and Anaxa arguing with Aglaea and Cerses is a fun dynamic. I do feel that this one is a bit more drawn out relative to the amount of stuff that happens in it, but that's pretty typical. If there's something that hurts the storytelling it's that the big "revelations" are stuff that was pretty easy to see coming, like the Chrysos Heirs becoming Titans was was immediately obvious from day 1...I don't really want to be stuck waiting around until 3.4 for the plot to get going, hopefully 3.3 and the Sky Titan bring something interesting to the table. HOPEFULLY the Express/March/Herta storylines can integrate into Amphoreus soon.

Golden Sun has an incredible GBA aesthetic that I'm deeply nostalgic for but that masks the fact that they are just not good on a mechanical or writing level

Kinda depends on what you mean, I would say The Last Jedi takes it for pure technical prowess + visual design.

But on the other hand, Empire Strikes Back is doing more with way less. There's scenes in that movie where you can clearly tell the computers the actors are fiddling with are just some plastic toy bullshit, but it looks incredible because the lighting in the scene is amazing. You don't really see that kind of visual effect at all in modern blockbusters.
